"We will definitely need a private space for some discussions," he glanced back to Mable before resting his gaze on Sinead, "Obviously, you know who we are and what influences we represent. Are introductions to other influences a service you provide?"

"I am afraid it is not. Once you enter the club, you are on your own. The staff does not disturb the guests in any way. An introduction could be taken as a disturbance." She bows her head in apology, and then turns to Mable, "Yes, that is absolutely possible. I believe the Onyx room is available for you for the remainder of the evening. Just ask one of the waitstaff to escort you when it becomes necessary."

"Lovely, thank you. Anything else we need to know? Any ground rules?" Mable was thinking about some clubs she had been in where business couldn't be discussed, another where it was good as long as there was no paperwork, recordings etc."

Jacque simply smiles at the sincere gesture of apology from Sinead, planning his next move as Mable asks her follow up question.
He could have easily bent her mind to his will with a forceful command if it wasn't for the several security guards within earshot. As effective as he was with the method, in this circumstance it would almost certainly trigger an aggressive reaction. His eyes instead lingered across Sinead's, waiting for her to look back to him after she finishes answering Mable's question. A gentler approach was taken, injecting a persuasion through the twin gates, "Please," the single syllable lingers across his lips as he draws upon the power of his blood, "...discretely point out to us the most influential member of City Hall present this evening as we enter the club."

"Sir." Sinaed turns to Jack, "I believe I have made it perfectly clear that this would not be happening. Everyone gets one. This is your one."
Sinaed turns to Mable, "The rules are fairly clear. The staff does not facilitate interactions or relationships. No violence is allowed on the premises. Money and influence are the general currency of the day," Sinaed steps in closely, "But everyone here is looking for something... I would recommend finding that something, if you want something."

Mable gave a respectful bow of the head, "Thank you, Sinaed. I appreciate you allowing us to visit this lovely establishment. I will be discrete." She give Sinaed a very warm smile of gratitude. Mable felt like there was nothing more coming from Sinaed and that somehow Jack had pissed her off.
She turns to Jack. "Ready?" She asks with a light smile. She gently touches up her hair and gives her dress a smoothing down.

Jacque's eyes narrowed on Sinead's form as she so clearly demonstrated her resilience. A part of him wanted to point out the difference between an introduction and discretely pointing out a mark, but she had made her point clear and it wouldn't change anything. We may represent a significant influence in the city, but this was her house.
Pressing away any visible sign of frustration, he presented a charming smile, "My apologies for the misunderstanding. I'm quite clear on the limits of your interactions now," Looking back to Mable he mutters with a grin, "Ladies first."
"Very well." Sinead walks to the single elevator and presses the button. The motif continues as they enter. The elevator has three buttons in it. L, B1 and B2. With a swipe of a card and the press of B1, they find themselves descending.
"If there is anything the staff can do to make your time here at the Man In Black more comfortable or pleasurable, please be sure to let us know. Other then what we have previously discussed..." She leaves the end of the sentence hanging, because nothing further need be said.
As the elevator dings and the doors open, the true Man in Black reveals itself. It is a lounge. No loud techno music, no blaring lights, no mostly naked dancers in cages. It is a club, but not in the "night club" sense. There are tall booths with round tables. There are regular tables with chairs around them. Each table is adorned with black table cloths and candles in the center. No flatwear is present, but people are eating. No coasters or glasses are present, but people are drinking. The entire lounge space can be described as minimalistic. White black and steel are the colors of the club. No staff is immediately present, but then, with a little perception, people are floating around the periphery, wearing similar uniforms to Sinead and the security staff from upstairs. The lounge is a beautiful place, but it's not flashy.
"We have a fully stocked bar, and restaurant. The silver booth is available, so your staff member this evening will be..." She looks to her ipad, "Martin. He can assist with whatever you need, within the rules."

In the elevator, Mable wondered what was on B2. Instead she asked, "In case of a fire or emergency how do we evacuate? Are there stairs?"
After they are in the lounge Mable does a quick glance around. "Thank you, Sinead. You have been...helpful." Martin. Silver Booth. Mable was trying to take it all in... not that there was a lot to take in. For that Mable was grateful. No flashy lights was wonderful.

As the elevator doors cracked open, Jacque was pleasantly surprised by the lack of the stereotypical "night club" atmosphere. Seeing that the venue is devoid of overwhelming stimuli he heightens his senses to better spy the periphery and eavesdrop on conversations.
"Yes, thank you Sinead." Jacque parrots Mable's compliment, though somewhere inside he's bitter about the mortal's resilience. "Enjoy your evening."
He starts walking carefully through the room, his eyes lingering nowhere for too long. Sizing up the room and approaching the bar he speaks to his partner without making eye contact, "What do you like to drink, Mable?"
