She remains where she was, alert and watchful. Briefly the thought passes her brain that perhaps Urshul was a better form to take, but she soon finds solace in the fact that the hunt hasn't been sounded.

She shakes her head. "That's sloppy. It's a message no? We can't have the weak running around causing noise. Surely you rapid sorts understand that."
"We're claiming downtown. You all stay away and keep any remaining weaklings with you. Be the good little attack dogs that you are and find Luna's bastards won't you? That'll make this easier for us."
Matt is still a giant dire wolf right Ruach ? If so then he can't speak in any human tongue unfortunately. He can however speak limited first tongue

Absolutely, sorry. I lost track of which thread and form Matt was in! SO glad to have the computer back instead of doing everything on the phone!
Was Matt able to get a whiff of the scent of the blood sufficient to track it or recognize it himself later?

Brigit sees the aggression in Emily. This is good, but the Talon wants intel. These could be Pure, sure, at least their words seem to indicate as much.
They could just as easily be Forsaken trying to goad them into an attack because they believe that the Carillon Call are Anshega. It would make sense. If the Pure are interested in returning to Sacramento, the Forsaken were sure to follow.
Thus, Brigit shifts once again, her frame standing head and shoulders above Hishu. She looks over the insulting suit-wearing wolf, but says nothing. Then she glances to Emily.
"Calm," she offers, "Look across, we should figure out what we're dealing with before we leap."
It may have sounded civil, but all Brigit was looking for was one of two words. Red or silver.

With a sigh the women crosses her arms. "Wolf-blooded? They can only hope to be chosen like us?" Then she stops intently stares at Emily. "The "Forsaken" " Air-quotes included. "How new are you?"[/COLOR]
All three take a step back as the horse sized dire-wolf spits First Tongue at them. "Hunting? No no, we just did that. That tidy little mess that's going to keep the humans busy for a while." Her two allies both open their suit jackets and a pistol hangs on each of their hips.
"Let's take a step back here." Arms unfold and hands rise up palms out, then drop. "Downtown is ours now, you all can have whatever you is yours."

Matt listens carefully to Emily's words and holistically interprets her body lean and tone. It's close. Not yet. Almost. She hasn't quite unleashed the wrath of the Pack, yet. He strains against restraint, snarling deep and low without even realizing it, anticipating the leap to come with fangs bared!
He studies the throats of his imminent foes, preparing for the fight when he will be able to become attuned to them and tear them out.
Without conscious thought, Matt is exhibiting menacing body language.
