I think it is time to leave, yes. I cannot wait to get this filth off of me. After sending the message Wilhelm begins to make his way back to their exit point. At least he had not worn expensive clothes. Though he would probably have to spend a while cleaning and polishing his weapons after this little foray. Now it seemed that they could only hope that Jayant and Elanah were having better luck up above.

Elanah takes her time to stretch. She sees the guard fumbling around in the darkness for something, and at one point he almost touches her.
Finally, when she thinks she isn't going to quite be able to make it, she turns her shoulder just so and is able to grab one of the radios from the recharging dock.
At the same moment, two things happen. First, the guy in the booth finally finds his flashlight and switches it on. This adds enough light to the inside of the booth that he's able to see more clearly - and, more importantly, he catches Elanah in the flashlight beam as he swings it around.
At the same time, an intense floodlight clicks on right over the gate, illuminating the area brightly. Jayant's shadows are not completely dispelled, but their effectiveness is all but negated, and Elanah is clearly illuminated by the beam. The Shadow can't help but flinch at least a bit to suddenly find herself so completely revealed.
Elanah flinches in the bright light and slides out of the window. Once out of the window and ducking down out of sight she activates obfuscate and wraps herself in her cloak of shadow.

Elanah is able to duck down below the front of the guard booth, where the only immediate observer is Jayant, and activate Cloak of Night.
From his vantage point, Jayant sees someone step out of the interior guard booth, carrying what looks like an assault rifle and cautiously approaching the gate.

Slinking back into the shadows not created by him, Jayant curses himself for not understanding Obfuscate more intuitively.

Ishani heads for the ladder again very discouraged that this entrence proved unusable. She didn't know what the others were going to do as the security of this place seemed impenetrable.
Maybe we should just drive a gas tanker through the gates and into one of the buildings. That would give these idiots something to concentrate on while we grab O-Yama.
She climbs back up the ladder and out the manhole waiting for Wilhelm to come out so they could replace the cover.
I'm out. She sends to his phone.

Wilhelm makes his way back to the ladder. It seemed as though they weren't going to be able to breach this security through subtle means, so what they needed was a distraction so blatantly obvious that the compound could not help but focus their attention to it. He found himself wondering what manners of poisonous gas the kindred of the domain could fill a tanker with...
His musing was cut short as he emerged onto the street once more, sending a quick reply to Ishani. As am I.
Elanah, radio in hand, makes her way off into the darkness. once somewhere she feels secure she takes out her phone and taps a quick message to Jayant..
I have it. That was close...

Konstantin waits by the manhole when Ishani and Wilhelm exit, keeping watch on the nearby street.
|
|
|

|
|
|
Reading the message as discretely as possible, Jayant slips away and heads back to the warehouse, careful to avoid any attention, taking the scenic route if necessary. He fires a reply to Elanah.
