Madcap's mad sprint brought him close enough to the house, and Atticus James' toss of the rock at the upstairs window smashed it. No more gunfire came out, and movement could be heard inside. Something heavy sliding along a floor could be heard.
"Only two? I'm insulted."
The voice was clipped, amused. What an asshole.

He'd been shot. His partner had been shot. And Little? That big fucker had a mouth.
Sometimes the best way to deal with things was to do it directly. Little already knew they were here and ol' Cappy was pissed enough to do something about it.
Pale eyes fell on the door before them like a laser as the Bruja let his rage build. Succumbing to his inner Wrath the Son of Bruja let out a yell and charged for the door... but not before giving his strength a little more umph with some help from the good ol' Vitae.

Did he pop the door
Madcap channels Leonidas. The door flies open, the lock popped through his mighty Spartan kick, and the darkened first floor is visible. There is a spiral staircase leading up to the second level, along with passageways into the living room by the window where the two were hunkered to the left, and what looks to be an entry way into the kitchen to the right. Going back deeper into the house directly ahead is a hallway that ends at a door.
Atticus goes inside and checks the left and right of the door for a switch. "Light this place up." Atticus says, stealth wasn't the game. He thought about burning the whole place to the ground, but it shouldn't come to that yet. "No shadows to hide in. Stealth isn't our game."
Atticus activates heightened senses to try to hear where Little is at.

Second story. It's clear that Little is moving something heavy in a room, up the spiral staircase and to the left. The sounds of things moving continues as he slides heavy objects along the floor with a scraping sound.

Madcap did as suggested and searches for a light, even as everything in him is telling him to charge up and eviscerate thelittle shitbig mark they had come to knock off.
Atticus makes his way over to Madcap, he lowers his voice. "My guess is he is blocking off those steps." Atticus points to the spiral steps, "So we can't go up without getting blocked up. It's probably a kill zone. We find another way up or we burn him out."
