Fifty yards. Under fire, it was an absolute fucking nightmare -- but at least they had a little bit of cover, which they wouldn't have had coming up the road.

Atticus knew this was not going to go well if they stayed out here screwing around. He had hoped to play to Little's pride, get him to come out, but it didn't go over. So now he ran toward the house at full speed.

The laser sight acquired a target -- Atticus James -- and there was a single report. A bullet punched clear through the Gangrel's torso, leaving a ragged hole that would have felled most people. Of course, Atticus James was not most people. What would kill humans was merely a blood-suck for an Axesworn aspirant...
Something they both noticed? The shot came from the second level of the house, an upper window. It made him safer inside, but once they were within a few yards of the house, he wouldn't have an angle from up there.

Madcap bursts towards the house behind Atticus, though the Scribe is a bit faster. Eyes shoot up to the window like daggers as a hole is blown into the Bruja's charge.
Little was already going to die, but, now, Madcap would ensure he died in ribbons.
Madcap moves double his speed (11) towards the house
Before the round ends Atticus is going to reflexively heal 2 bashing.
As the bullet drills into Atticus his steps to the left and the bullet drills through his abdomin and out the other side. It didn't feel good but he compartmentalized the pain and let his body do the work.
Atticus continues at full speed toward the house. He thought about kicking in the door or diving through a window, but he would bet this wank had his door or window trapped. Atticus didn't look back, one bullet through him meant Madcap should be good.

The laser sight tracked Atticus James, but the Gangrel was quick, just quick enough to duck under the line of sight of the shot as he basically tagged the house's outer wall safe. But Madcap, he was a little slower. The sight snapped up on the second form, and a single gunshot report came from upstairs, a bullet blowing out a chunk of Madcap's right pec and out the back.
Movement could be heard from within, upstairs.

Madcap grunted as his dead flesh flew behind him in bloodless chunks, but he pushed on.
"You're ash tonight, Little!" he hollered, though his voice was quite hoarse and labored. Seems the fucker hit a lung.

Sure. A decorative one!
Atticus was almost flush with the wall but knew that Madcap was gonna get chewed up if he didn't do anything. The Gangrel reached down and grabbed a rock, it was shaped like a turtle shell and hucked it at the window where the shots were coming from, trying to distract the shooter and hopefully prevent cap from taking another blast.
If it works, Atticus would like to use the last of his action to move himself up against the wall so he cannot be shot at anymore
