A couple of streets away from the Aegis' sanctum was a small coffee shop, locally owned, not a chain. It was easy to miss, down a side street - it was small, and a little expensive but the drinks were high quality, fair trade, and the foods locally sourced.

Phoenyx has invited Galatea to join her with Alastor and Kaze to discuss the Arrows going forward.

She was actually quite excited, though her face didn't betray it. The prospect of having another girl in the Cabal was nice, and even if she knew Galatia would probably tease her over... something... the eager Thyrsus had skills that could make the whole cabal stronger.

She waited for the others to Arrive.

Kaze arrives shortly after Phoenyx, in his usual 'uniform' of black trousers and a solid black shirt and athletic shoes with a brown,leather satchel over his shoulder.

He smiles and heads over to the table where Phoenyx is waiting. "Hey." he says affectionately. "So. How are you feeling about...people knowing?" he asks obliquely. "I'm still not in a rush. Just checking." he says with a smile.

Phoenyx looks up as Kaze arrives at the table, and her eyes narrow slightly. "Well, that depends on if you want a kiss this morning or not." There's a tiny smile tugging at her mouth. Come on, dummy. Open offer. Take the initiative.

She sips her tea shyly. She had not expected to have to do this this morning. "I... don't know. I'm happy with you. I am. The Arrows all know, now. I don't see the difference if more people know." Phoenyx says the words, but the look on her face is unconvinced and more than a little uncomfortable. "Do we have to do thus now? The others should be here any minute." She looks around almost pleadingly.

And so it was that Alastor arrived, opening the door to the shop and coming in to join them. Had he heard? Probably not. There were no Scrying windows about. But now that they'd told him, they didn't need to sneak around. The fact that his Talons were in a relationship was something he'd need to think about for duty assignments, but as long as they did what they needed to do and didn't let their budding romance get in the way of their duty to the Awakened of the Consilium, all would be well.

The First Talon ordered a coffee. Dark roast, black, the kind of thing that put hair on your chest and your heart into palpitations. He nodded to the others, but didn't immediately come and sit down.

Galatea arrived last, being a bit late after getting lost in a particularly fun documentary on orcas. She wore the usual- jeans, a shirt with an aquarium logo, and a leather jacket with a shark on the back. She saw her group and made her way, grinning.

"mmm? The whole gang's here? Admiral, what's this about?"
the Thyrsus looked to Alastor as she took a seat, simply ordering some water; she didn't drink much in the way of junk soda, and life magic was a decent replacement for caffeine when needed.

Galatea was waiting for the news. Kaze and his Captain looked wonderful together as always.

"Well," Pheonyx looks around at the others, since no-one seems to be talking, "We had a discussion and decided to offer you the chance to join our little group. Officially. Have a little more back-up for Group meetings and so on."

The Firebird gives her a shy smile. "Do you want to?"

Kaze took the rare opportunity to kiss Phoenyx in public before the others arrived, and told Phoenyx, "Nope. We don't have to do anything we don't want to." he says with a smile.

Kaze nods and smiles at Alastor when he arrives, knowing not to try to converse before he's had coffee.

He smiles at Galatea when she arrives.

"Do I get a sailor's uniform and a cool hat?"

A bit of a chuckle at that- Galatea had been looking into embracing the non-bestial part of the ocean, trying to wane herself off from that life. If she couldn't be below the water, she would find joy riding above it.

"So all of you are part of this group? So we have an Admiral, a Captain, and a Powderboy.... Where's that leave me I wonder? A playful laugh at this, but she addressed the matter with a sense of seriousness. She just wanted to get the teasing out of the way- continue in her training the Fire Bird for the joys of couple life.

"But... Yes. I would like to join. If you'll have me."

An Admiral, a Captain, and a Powderboy? Alastor raised an eyebrow above his mirrored shades, an amused smirk on his lips. "You keep handing out nautical nicknames, and I'm going to make Baby Shark a mandatory part of our martial arts warm-up," the Mastigos muttered. Still, she accepted the offer. "That's good. Welcome. We've got a place we're all living, with all the amenities. Your contribution to the, uh... rent would be... appreciated, but you are very welcome."

She'd need to build on their home, their Hallow, but the rewards for doing so were great.

"Good training space, too. And it's pretty safe."

He had a fuckton of Warding up that made it so.

Phoenyx smiles at the kiss. He'd figure it out.

".....No." Phoenyx stares at Galatea, confused. "No uniforms. Why would you think that? And what's a Powderboy?" The Arrow wasn't nautically minded.

But when she said yes, Phoenyx did smile.

"We have all the facilities we need set up. And a few extras." They still had the pole. It was so cool.
