The pup had to stretch to find the right words, but he managed it. Secrets for the spirit's eyes? They could manage that. There were plenty of secrets- abstractions.

Matt listens and watches, listlessly, not sure how it's going or what's going on, really. Still, it seems to be going well. Emily and Nathaniel seem to know what they are doing, and Hector, the Alpha seems content to let them handle things. So Matt listens and watches.

Hector continues to hold his nerve and his position, trusting that the Ithaeur know what they doing.

Matt listens, ponders, silently.

Secrets. From whom? Something no one knows? Or just something not very many people know? His biggest 'secret', the one he's most, not proud of, is already known to the Pack, well most of them. So does that mean it wouldn't count? He doesn't have much to hide other than that. Is it how shameful or just how secret it is? He's never told anyone his favorite plant. Because it's not a big deal. Would that make it a 'secret'? Or what, does it want his gmail password? He's got it set for dual authentication anyway....

Matt listens, hoping there will be some instructions forthcoming before he is supposed to contribute.

Eyes-with-Wings bobs its head at Nathaniel's offer then flutters its wings in excitement as Emily sweetens the deal.

<<Yes Yes Yes>> Wings flutter as the spirit adjusts itself to get a better look at the non-Crescents. There is the distinct feeling that it is appraising each of you.

It wanted secrets. That would be easily enough- but there was the matter of privacy. Nathaniel had a feeling that some secrets would rather be kept... Or at the very least, kept secret between tribes. The Spirit would most likely keep such things to itself, unless forced- perhaps such things were a source of power? Or a sign of an agreement?

<<Secrets can be shared/But between more than two minds/They will lose value>> There. A way to avoid the whole tribe relaying their secrets in the open.

<<One by one we speak/ One by one, secrets can fall/into you alone>> What good would it be, if all present company knew it? No, it would surely be more valuable the less people knew of it. They could all submit one of their own. In secret. So it remained such.

The spirit flutter it's wings again and with greater vigor. Clearly its liking what its hearing...right?

<<Yes! Only. Between.>> It nods and looks at the male Crescent with the attention of an howl watching a mouse though it doesn't necessarily feel like that...does it?

This was the part Nathaniel was often the most giddy, and the most wary, of. Spirits were powerful allies, but no matter how well Nathaniel strove to understand the beings they weren't always... Easy... To understand.

It was a terrible idea- but hey, the best way to learn is to hit the ground running. That's... How the expression would be applied in this situation, right?

The young crescent leaned in, and gave his secret. Not necessarily a bad one- more an embarrassing one.

<<this young crescent pup/ once mingled with shadow flesh/ and holds lustful eyes>> It was very different with spirits. Actually, it was almost impossible with most of them. But he'd found one, once- a spirit of lust. Engaged in the closest equivalent to 'romance' that could exist. Nothing lasting- but it was an experience that stuck. It was shallow and cold, and undoubtedly dangerous. A weakness an enemy could exploit, for sure.
