Juris will investigate the car.
From his pocket the Guardian produces a handkerchief that he wraps around his right hand. When he's done, he opens the door of the pickup, to investigate its mudane content. Should he spot an anomalous pattern, he'll try to analyze the resonance.

Shodan doesn't feel like he is needed to do what basically Winter and Juris are already doing - that is, scrutinizing the cars' contents - so he is content to note in his phone the make, model and license plate number of each machine. That done, he looks towards the main house.
Winter inspects the pickup. The owners have been careful: they have left nothing indicating their magical interests in the cab. He does, however, find enough paperwork to construct the mundane identity of the owner: Jonas Whitaker, a farmer - and by the look of the bills and other documents stashed in the glove compartment, not exactly a successful one. No doubt a lot of his assets where being directed to creating the ritual in the barn.
Juris turns his attentions to the cars. One has a very clean cabin, where he finds some identity documents (Sarah Jane Smith) and a suitcase on the back seat. The suitcase is simply filled with clothes, as if the owner had been planning on spending a few days at the farm. He finds the stub of a sage stick stashed deep in the glove compartment and a folded piece of paper slipped between the bucket seat and the door (detailing a list of ritual props by the look of it).
Juris finds that the second car is much more messy with the back seat covered in a selection of conspiracy and alternative history magazines. As with the first car, there is a suitcase of clothes as if the owner had been planning on more than an overnight stay. Amidst the clutter, the Thearch also finds enough identity papers for two people (Roger Feldman and Connor Hernandez - alternative ID for the same person). This car is a hatch back and peering into the boot-space, he can make out a second bag.
Shodan moves to the main house. The walls might need a bit of cleaning but there is a wonderful little herb garden out the front that has been lovingly tended. The breeze ripples through the flowers and leaves of the plants, create the impression of a peaceful scene - and it would be had the Obrimos not known of the events in the barn. The front door is locked.
Shodan finds that a side door is not. This side door leads into a cosy kitchen and dining space. Beyond the kitchen / dining room is a small hallway with a stairs leading up (basement access via a door under the stairs) and a large living area. An older couple made their home here and from the ample photographs he can make out one of the men and one of the women. The cosy theme carried from the kitchen to the living room.
As Juris went through the cars it became clear this was not the intended outcome. "Looks like this was all a surprise to them. I see clothes that make me think they planned on staying here for a couple of days. Not to mention a list of ritual props, along with the name of one person, and two possible names for another." He pulled out the IDs so he could pass them between Winter and Shodan if they wanted to see the names and pictures.
Juris found the latch and opened the back of the hatchback so he could go through the second bag.
Juris looks in second bag in back of the second car.
Mirroring Winter (although he doesn't know it), Shodan wraps a piece of cloth around his hand. Ain't no way he leaves his fingerprints on anything here. In any case, he doesn't explore the house just yet - first, he needs to make sure he won't be jumped by anyone. Needing the help of the other two mages in a brawl would be super embarassing.

He stashes the crumpled bills into his pocket. From the looks of it, they had stumbled upon a group of amateurs that had ended up biting more than they could chew. "Idiots", he mutters under his breath. Now not only they'd need to track the Angel, but they needed to trace any member of the clique that the creature hadn't been polite enough to blast into smithereens.
"Jonas Whitaker", he says, "likely the owner of the farm". He closes the door of the car and looks around, curious as to where had the Libertine gone.

Juris digs into the bag in the boot. The bag clanks weightily and the mage soon discovers why: tools and wrappings fill the bag. It would seem that the mysterious Roger / Connor had been both a blacksmith and a mechanic; and that he had transported the pieces of the sphere to the farm from elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Shodan chants his spell. Opening his mind to a higher level of consciousness is a rush. However, once the initial wave of surprise and befuddlement has passed, the only other consciousness he can sense is that of his companions. There is nothing else besides the fading afterglow from the barn. It would appear that the angelic being either returned to its original plane or else phased out of existence - the angel has certainly left no trail to follow.
Winter crosses to where the Libertine stands, alerted by the Libertine's chanting.
They are well away from the property boundary. Even if the neighbours had been taking an interest they would have heard nothing and seen little.
No people. No ghosts. No angels. Fucking eerie, that.
He shoots a quick text to Juris:
The lack of prying eyes removes the need for stealth, but it doesn't mean nothing is there, recording (people are into all manner of weird stuff, after all). A simple enchantment punctuated by a muttered passage of High Speech, and the Libertine is fairly certain he won't have to worry about electronic sensors.

The tongue of Atlantis changes its tempo as it serves to empower a spell from another realm - this time, to save this Obrimos some time and give a straight answer of whether or not there are any safes behind paintings.

Of course, magic can only get you so far. Wary to not touch anything with a bare hand, Shodan is looking for electronic storage devices - from hard drives, to floppy disks to DVDs - that could shed some light on who lives (or lived) here and what he's been up to regarding the sphere and ritual.

Juris looked down at his phone without surprise, for he too had checked for the consciousness of others, but it was a relief no one had showed up since they arrived. He pulled the bag out of the car and closed the hatch, wiping off his prints around the cars. He carried the bag over to the other mages and said, "Looks like the guy from the car I looked in created the sphere." He placed the bag down on the ground for either of them to look into.
