Galatea's tail twisted so, as interesting ideas swam in her head. She had no idea what the Prideful-looking one was speaking of about sympathy- however if they were capable of tracking magic...
"If they can track magi-... Wait, do you mean to say they can merely track the casting of our spells, or do you mean to say they can also track the aftereffects of them?"
Galatea wasn't much for magical theory, but that seemed an important distinction. Her transformations relied on magic to start, yes, but the spell didn't require constant expenditures (and the result of her transformations were "natural"... more or less); same with her shields. While she was no expert on magic by any means, she was smart enough to notice that basic distinction.
"If they can track magic effects even after casting, then anyone using shielding spells could have already been marked right?..."
She'd taken Alastor's advice (or, orders) and now maintained a constant shield on her person. She was, understandably, somewhat concerned hearing about this. Still...
"....Anyways. If you need a tank on the ground while you guys do this stuff, I'm probably the best bet- or another arrow, though based on what you've all said here they'll probably be needed to deal with the magical crazies going on considering they've experience in the matter."
Given that she had no experience in these past endeavors, and her lack of magical knowledge, she wouldn't be as effective against these Uber-mages and their magical measuring contest. But against humans, specifically ones with experience dealing with magic?
"My healing isn't magical... Er... Not like my spells anyways? And if they use toxins or non-lethal devices, my transformations can help- they can also mask my identity. Against mundane weaponry, unless they're about to chuck missilles or insane amounts of voltage my way, I can take it."
And at the end of the day, no one expected the giant shark cannonball.
