Thomas had valid points, yet, he was still reluctant. "Thomas, keep an eye on him. I want to see his behavior at the next Court. If you think we can nudge him in the right direction as a cat's paw for us then we will try it." He looked out onto the horizon. "As always, if you wish to spend the night, you are welcome to. I can take up the couch."

"I...um...could be some help with Adam....maybe. He seems hell bent on saving my soul. I could spend some time with him, hear him out."
"It seems we'll look into him for two angles, then. Perfect!" the Ventrue looks content, if not actually joyous "I thank you for the offer, but I need some time alone. A lot's happened here tonight for all of us to process. Besides, one of the Temple's rafters is rotten. I have to remove it before it falls on someone" He offers an apologetic smile.
"It was... nice talking to you, as always. I'll see you soon" Thomas nods in farewell to both Acolytes and turns to the path, leaving.
