"Not for crows," Alfonso says with a wintry smile, "and really, only an omen of Death, specifically, not general bad luck per se."

The Crow sighs, "I still have belief in a Higher Power, and choose to think of it as 'blessed', but yes, it is not anything I take credit for, and I am grateful."

He observes her use of technology. "Well, regardless of my head start, you seem to be young at heart enough to have passed me quite quickly in adopting the ways of Youth."

The Crow cocks his head, curious, "What is your favorite New Thing, since you came back?"

"Besides internet porn? Hmm, I dunno. Taco trucks? Twitter? Marvel movies? Netflix? Avocado toast? Marriage equality? Crazy Rich Asians? My beautiful tail? I can't decide! Don't make me choose! It's too much!" Sonnie played at sounding melodramatic towards the end of her list, even pretending (unconvincingly) to faint in her seat.

Alfonso chuckles, being a willing audience for Sonnie Wu's dramatics.

He pauses and then says, "And, if you don't mind my asking, what do you miss the most from before?"

Sonnie cracked open an eye to peer at Alfonso with a half-smile, "Mmmmm, no. I think I've shared enough for one day. A girl must keep some secrets, after all."

Hopping down from the carousel, the Spring Courtier gathered her belongings. "I should probably go do my job before I get fired or promoted or something."

The Crow nods. "Of course." he says. "Please feel free to call or text any time. For what we talked about, or just to talk if no one else is available." he says. "I appreciate your time."

Sonja gave Alfonso a 'finger gun' salute as she started off, "Right-io! I'll be watchful for suspicious people and chipmunks. Have a good day, Officer Crow!" She smiled and wandered away towards the park's exit. She started humming more Paula Abdul as she went.
