Jesus Christ, the man was a mess. A smelly and gory mess, too - Shodan resists the urge to vomit his dinner mostly because of the act's social ramifications. It seems, for the moment, the Libertine won't be touching the driver. Besides, Kaze seems in his element, so he lets the other Obrimos take the lead on this one. Something is off, though...

"Hey, those look like gang tats" he says pointing to the ink, wondering if he can recall the group's actual name. Emboldened by this discovery, Shodan gives the man a once-over... from a distance.

Kaze starts CPR immediately. "Problem. I think you have to leave me. This guy is warm, but gone." Kaze says. "Call 911. Grab what you can in a minute and go. I'll do CPR until they get here. Seriously. One. Minute. Go."

Shodan: You manage to open the trunk, or whatever remains of it. A bunch of cleaning supplies, a large hacksaw, plastic bags, a bodybag? A few bottles of acid and lye are scattered around. [the beeping continues, wits + comp, 2 suxx]
The tattoo belongs to a central american gang. Guatemala, Nicaragua or Honduras. Narcs, you reckon.

Kaze: Dead men tell no tales, and this one - despite his best effort - is way too dead to come back. There's no pulse, no heartbeat.
The ~~man~~ body's head rolls to the side and the Obrimos can see why his efforts were doomed from the start [Kaze: wits + comp]

In an instant, puzzle pieces fall into place. The gang fella. The bodybag and the chemicals.

"Here's a working theory. Whoever is in charge hired this guy over here to take care of the bodies of boss-man and whoever else gets in the crossfire. Meaning there's a hit squad waiting for them and we don't have time for bullshit. You said yourself the guy is dead and there's no one else here. I say we torch the car and go" He says matter-of-factly, even grimly.

"There's some sodium hydroxide and... I think it's sulfuric acid. If we put them together, and they react with the metal elements of the car, we can light up the hydrogen gas that is the result and purge whatever biological traces we left there" And then Shodan's heard the beeping "What's that sound?" He goes to check and notices the cracked display, trying to figure out what it is.

When he is don, Shodan waits for Kaze's input regarding his plan and if he's changed his mind regarding staying. If he objects to using the chemicals, Shodan won't do it, and if he remains stalwart in his decision to stay and wait for the emergency services the Libertine won't argue any further and, as directed, go towards the gallery.

Note: I obviously don't know if the acid is sulfuric acid, but if Shodan's theory is even half-right, that seems likely

Kaze sighs. "Okay. Remember? About real life operations? One big real life rule is, way better to leave too soon than too late." he says, rising and moving smoothly towards the car.

"We need to leave right now. The best bad thing that happens is we get the Hierarch's car involved in a hit and run fatality. Every other possibility is worse. I'm going to get in the car and leave. If you get in soon enough, you can drive, okay?"

Kaze takes in the whole scene as he prepares to leave immediately.

Shodan: It's like the car's computer is trying to perform some data operation. Slowly, because the wi-fi antenna is damaged, a bunch of corrupt pixels show there and there at the edges of the cracked screen. Whether the car is trying to stream or pull data from the ether, it will have to be examined. The display keeps beeping.

Kaze: The body's head rolls to the side and Kaze can finally see what was previously hidden under a layer of blood, grime and night. A hideous wound 9mm wide, right behind the man's right ear. Small tendrils of flesh are pulled toward the inside, a clear sign that he was staring at the entry point of the bullet. Gunpowder burns impressed upon the folds of skin around entry hole, no doubt echoing its opposite on the other side. It was a single shot at point blank range, clean, the bullet had caused a concussion, but the cause of death had been far more horrifying than that, severing part of the the midbrain and the brainstem, the shot had disrupted the reticular activating system, that complex network of neural structures that control breathing and cardiac activity. The man had died instantly.
That explained the lack of profuse bleeding. But why was the skin still warm? [you can attempt an int + science or medicine roll at a -3 penalty for not knowing the fact the AC had been turned off, to approximately reconstruct the time of death from the amount of bleeding, or you can consult with Shodan and attempt a teamwork roll at no penalty, since he'd know about the AC, for the same effect, you'll have to decide who's going to be the primary actor in that case, about 10 seconds per roll, 2 suxx needed. Or you can use magic]

"Just give me a second here" Talk about mood swings. First the Arrow says they got two minutes, then he wants to stay for a chat with the police and now he is acting like in ten seconds some kind of bomb will go off "I'll check the SUV's computer and I'll be right with you"

True to his word, when Shodan is done examining the device and what it's doing, he scurries back to the remains of Campanella's car, taking the driver's seat if possible. He ignites the engine, ready to get them moving.

"Okay." Kaze says, heading to the car, getting in the passenger side, and waiting. Once Shodan is inside and they're driving away, he explains, "That guy was dead from gunshot. Maybe he did it himself, or maybe someone wanted it to look that way. Either way, close range."

Shodan: Somebody is trying to send something to the car. It's a live feed, probably a video or an image, playing a bit with the display [a single craft roll] will be enough to fix the display.
The beeping gets a bit faster.

This is a slight rewind, so Shodan hasn't yet entered the car when the following happens

Lacking any tools worth the name, the Prime Mover is forced to resort to more primitive methods. So a screw tightened here, a wire untangled there. Good thing he was protected against fire and electricity. When he is done, the display looks... passable, perhaps.

The mage pays close attention to what is sent.
