The white SUV stands dead against the steel and concrete beam. Its back turned into a trap of steel and aluminium, sheets of metal folded like a can of tuna. Occasionally from the exhaust pipe, mixed with the gas, an orange spark crackles and fizzles like a firecracker in the coldness of the night.
The direction indicators flip intermittently. All around, broken glass shards and debris. The front of the car, despite the beam cutting it almost into half, looks relatively pristine.
Both Obrimos weave their protective glyphs. They can see the engine giving out, heat and kinetic energies dispersing and fizzling. Their sights can perceive the heat inside the car, the heating is still on, that's enough to shield whoever form inside from their scrutiny.
Shodan 's advanced sight can't pierce past the most superficial layer of metal. He can see however that there are no secret compartments in the doors or the trunk. The vehicle is your average luxury SUV. If it wasn't for the dispersed resonance of the spell glyph still hovering above the roof, there would be nothing supernal about it other than the fact it change its color from black to white.
It's a solid car, the blackened windows barely show a crack.
Kaze 's recognizes the resonance as being identical to the one he perceived in the encrypted signature. Looking around, the highway seems desert. Both can sense the lingering after effects of a radio connection right on the tip of the now broken wi-fi antenna perched atop the hood of the car.

Find the Hidden Hoard is a concentration spell, since spellcasting (without space 2) is limited to the shortest between 200 yards and sensory range, Shodan can see what's under the surface layer but he'll be unable to pierce past that (to discover for example a secret book stashed inside a seat) unless he recasts that spell and keeps it up as he searches the insides of the car.

"There's something active on top. Same resonance as what changed the color." Kaze observes. "Could be anything, but if we're doing this, we don't have time to wait around. "

"Festina lente." Kaze murmurs under his breath as he covers Shodan as the mage tries the door. If he has trouble opening it, Kaze steps up and adds his strength to the attempt to open it.

"Hey in there." he says to the cracked window. "We're here to help, if you're hurt. Help you get out at least."

The door opens with a click. The inside of the cabin is dark but unexpectedly warm, alongside a host of malfunctions the display signals the AC is still on. Behind the wheel a man, slouched forward and with his head resting against the rudder, the popped airbag the only thing standing between him and a caved in skull. It smells of burnt and blood.
The key is still turned on ignite, the noisy engine is still on as evidenced by the crackling sparks of the exhaust pipe.

Give me a wits + investigation or composure roll to progress. There's a -3 penalty which can be negated either with the trained observer merit or by turning on a light/relevant spells. To examine the man once the light is on, you'll need wits + medicine.

"Okay. let's take a minute to check him out, then make sure no one's in back and grab what we can, computers or hard drives or whatever, then take him with us and go." Kaze says, "We can't stay longer than two minutes, tops."

Following Shodan's suit, casting Nightsight on himself, and then examining the apparently unconscious man, spending an extended time about half a minute in a healing trance to see the true state of the man's current health.

Under Kaze's heightened perception, the cabin of the SUV appears to be a mess of tangled burnt wires, jagged angles and crystal shards.
The airbags have popped out, but there are still traces of blood both on the wheel and the windscreen. Shodan might have turned the engine off, but unrelenting amid the chaos, the cracked display remains lit, beeping. [Kaze, wits + comp, 2 suxx to notice the beep]

Shodan: The man - because it's a man - is heavy, so heavy that the Obrimos barely manages to lift him and lay him on the tarmac. His shirt is soaked in blood. A horrible smell of waste lingers around the man, and the Libertine can barely resist the urge to puke let alone retrieve an id-card from the man's trousers.

Kaze: The Obrimos recognizes how brash Shodan had been. You never want to move the victim of an accident, however what is done is done.
It's a large male, middle aged, bald, there are few tattoos on his neck [either of you, wits + streetwise to recognize, 1 suxx to recognize they're from a gang]. The collar of his shirt is blackened in blood and there's a deep gash across his forehead. Surprisingly given the state of his shirt, the wound is hemorrhaging very little blood, if at all.
The man is warm at the touch, but as the Obrimos attunes himself to the pulse of the Primal Wild, he sees... nothing. The man just doesn't register at all. It can only mean one thing. [you're free to inspect the man wits+inv, or wits + comp, or wits + medicine, try to perform CPR dex + medicine]
