(1902) Meeting of Light

[Aurora]

She was a little surprised by the balls of this new guy. Come in, throw his opinion around, THEN introduce himself.

While she was protective of Campy, as Hierarch, this was going to happen. And from the way he spoke, he could handle himself. Not that she doubted it.

"Thankfully, we've never had to keep you in line." she says with a smirk.

Turning to the new guy, "Since you've seen fit to come in and throw your opinions around, maybe you'd like to introduce yourself?" she wasn't being hostile. "I'm Aurora, Thyrsus and member of the Mysterium."

[Phoenyx]

"Those chains are nasty," Phoenyx says, leering at the weapon on Alastor's hip.

Her head flicks to the newcomer that seems to have appeared at the edge of the room. "Bold words. Surely we all stand against the abyss? It's literally what we do." The trenchcoated Arrow walks slowly around toward the new arrival. "We saw the Hierarch's heart when he claimed the position," she says clearly in a measured tone. "But you wouldn't know that, would you?" Phoenyx adds, a hint of a smirk tugging at her lip.

[Abacus]

"Much appreciated, Hierarch."

"My name is Abacus. I am also of the Mysterium. I'm surprised we haven't met before today, Councilor Aurora."

He turned to the Arrow. She raised a good point. "You saw what he wanted you to see, as any good candidate would."

The Libertine had caught his attention in the same way a leaping child caused heads to turn. Behavior that registered outside the normally accepted temperament. A youthful interjection. It was by no means a diminishing observation. The Libertine just seemed more animated than the rest of them given the circumstances.

And then he heard his name.

"Like the search engine?"

[Cosmo]

Cosmo watched and listened as he had been doing. Kasterborous fell to silence, but then Abacus joined the group immediately questioning the Heirarch. Cosmo didn't mind questioning authority, it's what he viewed as the difference between the Pentacle and the Seers, but doing it without at least introducing yourself? That was a bit rude to the Apostate.

"I'm Cosmo, Obrimos Apostate." He attempted to smile at Abacus, his only real questions for the new arrival being asked by Aurora and Shodan already. "Welcome to Sacramento, are you moving to the city too?"

[Kaze]

Kaze takes it in. Abacus seems determined to test everything and everyone around him. And it seems to Kaze that it all seems solid enough to handle it. Then, finally are some introductions.

"Kaze. Obrimos, Adamantine Arrow." Kaze says, quietly, smiling. "Good to see you, Abacus."

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx watches the new Obrimos, 'Abacus', with her arched eyebrow and unmoved smirk. "What he wanted us to see? The Duel Arcane demonstrates wisdom, not political rhetoric."

She goes and leans against the wall, watching the scene unfold.

[Campanella]

Campanella leans forward taking a contemplative pose.

"Abacus of the Mysterium. Hmm. Well, I am Campanella. Also of the Mysterious. So is Aurora. I would recommend that you seek out Langdon, a Moros, at some point."

The Order would need to meet again. He could see that.

[Aurora]

What he wanted them to see? Really?

"Have you ever witnessed a Duel?" maybe he hadn't. "As said, it showed Wisdom and that he was strong enough to lead us." this guy was rubbing her the wrong way already.

But she was done with it, let him talk about what he didn't understand. Looking to Campy, "Seems the Order is growing."
