There was a faint whisper. "What the blazes..."

The door slowly opened to reveal a taller, thin man with a chiseled face. It may have been difficult to make out all of his features with the light of fire in full force behind him. He didn't open the door wide enough to see behind.

His head sort of turned to the ladies standing near the man who was doing the worthy questioning. "In the future, if someone in a tunnel ordered a pizza, wouldn't you think that person would wait at an indicated meeting point for said pizza? Such as 122 and an 1/8th."

Shifting his head back to the Chatelaine, he calmly asked. "What oddities come to mind?" He had no mantle to speak of, but there was something about the shimmer on his face that may have been an indication he was a Changeling.

"It must be a troll, most definitely a troll. Or a dwarf, not a ghost like we originally hypothesized. It's that he lives in a tunnel. Besides, he's asking for a pizza", the Fairest wonders aloud, sending a few of her wisps to illuminate the area better.

She nods to the unknown man, friendly and open in her attitude. "Right! Good to remember for the future. Pizza joints do that thing now where they deliver to places like parks and libraries. Maybe they added underground passageways? In any case, sorry for the interruption."

Sonnie responds to the question, "Oddities? Oh, right. We're looking for... someone. Have you noticed any weird people today? Besides us, I mean?"

As she spoke, she visually studied the man, mentally comparing him to the security footage they had viewed just a brief time ago. The Beast tried to gauge whether his height and build matched that of the Mystery Man in the video.

Pierce sighed, giving the gentleman an apologetic glance. Was Titania truly so far gone? Was Sonnie truly so unrefined? In any event, the Chatelaine elected to simply get to the point.

"The mortals about have noticed odd noises coming from the park. They've been avoiding it. And the cafe nearby was raided by a being in disguise -- for cold iron items. Needless to say, there are concerns. Have you any familiarity with what has been going on about here that you can share with us, sir?"

Endless protocol, even in the minor details. The minor details were what counted, so often.

What was wrong with her companions, the Fairest was left wondering. Didn't they realize how suspicious meeting a stranger bunkered down a hole, inside a castle, in the middle of a park, was?
She tiptoes closer to the door, standing on her tips in order to catch a glimpse of what is being hidden by the door.
As fate would have it however, one of her wisps covers her sight, his sparkling fat bottom diverting her focus. For a few seconds, she's mesmerized by the sight, absorbed as she was, she couldn't notice anything of the interior.

Sonnie would realize that the person standing before them was the same build as the person in the security camera. It was unknown if he was the same person or not since he wasn't wearing similar clothing that the cloaked person had been wearing.

"Am I not weird enough for you miss?" He said with his slightly slit eyes that flitted between the two ladies, his smile glinted sharp teeth. His voice was not menacing though, even though it was deep.

Nodding to the question from Maxwell. "Yup, I know exactly what you speak of. I didn't know the noise was carrying through the park."

"Yes, we've found some cold iron." He didn't elaborate, because he didn't feel the need to do so, the question wasn't ask.

"I've seen weirder," Sonnie shrugs, the stranger's appearance not bothering her. Once you've been a Lost for a while, you get used to to freaky-looking people. That the man was the right size to be the robber, well, she kept that in mind. He could have easily changed his clothing since then.

The cold iron question caused her to frown slightly, and she glanced at Maxwell to judge his reaction. Looking back to the thin man, the Beast tilted her head in curiosity, "Where'd you find the cold iron, and what are you doing with it? And can you explain the noise? Sorry if we seem nosy, but this is all pretty interesting, isn't it? Weird sounds, cold iron, mysterious strangers. I'd not blame us for wanting some answers. Oh, and you're name would be?"

Pierce's eyebrow popped. That wasn't the reaction he was expecting from the being before him. And that they had more than one person involved was interesting and concerning. Why hadn't these people checked in with the authorities? Or had they?

Sonnie's questions were the right ones, at least, for now. He flashed the unknown Lost before him a polite smile and awaited his reply.

The sleek Fairest retreated back, shying away from the suspicious gentleman's lecherous smile. "We've found?", she repeated aloud.
Did the fellow imply he wasn't alone?

"We were sent here to find what we could and dispose of it." There was nothing hidden in his voice or his expressions to say that he was not being honest. "The noise is probably from the grinding done to take away sharp edges of the bricks, or it could be from the vent pipe." He shrugged, not sure which may be causing it. "Could be when it's wheeled away."

"I'm Frank and this here is," He turned to open the door wider to introduce his counterpart. "Nicho...las.... Nicholas?"

The man suddenly jerked away form the door and walked past the melting pot that had been fashioned out of whatever could be found. It was positioned over a make-shift fire pit and there was also a make-shift venting hole. It all looked pretty stupid and dangerous. Frank started yelling.

"Nicholas!!!" He ran back to the end of where they had things set up. He shouted down the tunnel. "NICHOLAS!!!!"

He paused, turned around in a panic. "He took off!"
