(1901) Duel Consilium

[Langdon]

"Congratulations Hierarch Campanella." Langdon bows his head to his superior and now Heirarch. A separate, though shallower, nod is sent to Alastor. That was something to watch.

Now who are the Councilors and what shape does the Consiulium need to be dragged out of? Possibilities and options that Langdon had not considered in his hiding. The Moros frowns, being a recluse for a time was a bad idea it seems.

[Phoenyx]

The youngest Arrow sidles around to Kaze. "You've got that look. What is it?" she inquires quietly.

[Campanella]

As the Squared Circle dissolved, Campanella is left gasping from exertion.

He can only accept the Arrow's handshake dumbly while he catches his breath and rebuilds his composure.

When he does step forward, he runs a hand through his hair and makes a noise close to a sigh.

"I would thank you all for your patience," he began with a nod to Shodan.

"I do believe that we have turned a corner. This Consilium now has a Hierarch and with it some structure. I intend to uphold the Lex Magica as it has already been written for the River City Consilium - recognising both Cabal's and those who who wish to pursue their studies alone. As always, the Consilium is there to arbitrate, not to enforce. I hope that I do not have to use the powers of my office - ever. The pentacle has more pressing concerns than petty conflicts between ourselves."

Brief and to the point. The Moros Hierarch did have one more thing on his mind, but looking out over the small gathering he quashed the thought. He had done enough. And he was not about to use the golden rush of his victory to force his opinions on the others, simply because he could.

[Winter]

"Indeed", he slides back into a business tone. With a fully formed Council, they could finally get back to work.

[Kaze]

Kaze looks caught, even guilty, when Phoenyx asks him what's going on with him.

He smiles and winces in a single expression and then shrugs, "Are you a Star Wars fan, Phoenyx?" he asks. "I should know that." he sighs.

"I need to talk to you. Just not here. Not when the Council is finally getting straight, and Alastor has accomplished his mission." he sighs again. "Tonight, back at the firehouse, okay?"

[Sand]

Low exhalation, thoughts turmoiled.

Having a Heirarch = good. Campanella as Heirarch = good.

So why turmoil?

A head shake. Either way, now =/= time 4/ investigation.

"Hey- sorry I didn't catch you earlier. I feel like it's been ages since we've done more than saying passing hellos at the theater. How are things?"

[Phoenyx]

The Arrow is puzzled. "Not... really? I don't see your point."

She nods, watching him and frowning quizzically. "Sure. We'll both be there anyways."

[Campanella]

Campanella lets the pause grow while his pounding heart stills.

After an interval he decides to take charge.

"Now then. Is there anything anyone wishes to discuss now that the main order of business has been dealt with?"

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx moves forward towards the Hierarch. "The Adamantine Arrow located the last of the operatives and disabled them, within a sound-muting bubble. We found the missing Mage, Epitaph - she had been decapitated. There was also a constructed being - a semi-living flesh around a metal framework. Very strong. Very dangerous. None of us had seen anything like it before. Once everyone was disabled, we called in the Guardians. So far as we can see, the veil remains intact, although that creature is a cause of some concern if the creation technique can be replicated."

He report done concisely, she slips back to the sides.
