I agree.
Delicately, gingerly, Krieg enters the room in which Mable is currently smashing furniture. A chair lays broken before him, and wisely, the Nosferatu grabs a splintered leg. It has the right length to be used as a stake, and really, if Alessandra wants this done before Mable's Beast exhausts itself naturally, then that was what it was going to take. The beautiful table in the middle was currently being shredded, and the Priscus of Gangrel's claws have torn up all sorts of things. The art. Bits of the wall. The furniture.
Krieg, if he wasn't careful.
Thankfully, he was big and fast, and grabbing people was something he was good at. Grabbing her from behind, he knew it was going to hurt, and hurt it did as she reached back and tore a chunk out of his chest and shoulder with her brutal claws. Gritting his teeth against the agony of it, he lined up the stake and pushed with all his might.
The stake landed.
Mable Wood fell in his arms.
He didn't pull it out right away. Give it a little time. But in a few minutes, he gingerly slid it out... and Mable Wood, lost to the Beast for minutes, was herself once more. Vitae was spent to heal the wound, but Krieg's, Krieg's injury would take time and effort to heal.
Krieg takes two Aggravated Damage.
I'm going to leave this thread open for a couple of days to let everyone who might want to have their final posts, and that will conclude Beneath Notice. Thank you all for participating.
Upon waking she realizes she has been staked and sees Krieg. Narrowing her eyes, "Did you just stake me?" She heals the damage. Grimaces as she looks at him closer. "Did I do that? I'm sorry that I took my anger out on you."
Mable assesses the damaged room. If Davis gets woken up maybe he will loan her the money to fix it. If Davis doesn't get woken up perhaps he has some valuables in his lair that she knows about that can help defray the cost. Either way she will need some money to redecorate. She begins to straighten out the room, biding for time before she has to face the rest of the group. "Oak seems to make a great scratching post." she comments weakly.
"Here you go, Ms. Green." Dirt Nap says, handing the newest member of the Domain back her guns. "You can call me, 'Dirt Nap', if you like." he says, still and watching to see what she'll do next.
Blackbirds segment is concluded I feel. She will have left with Atticus to help move Davis. I don't intend to post, so please don't wait for me guys! Great scene and good to close when everyone is done
Oh right, good to close here too. Good to get this all into cannon soonest.
As the Prince thanked Rebecca she merely nodded in reply. Then she listened as the Prince accepted the offer of the Life boon from the poacher. She did not comment, and instead only said, "I shall make a note of it immediately, Your Majesty." She didn't even wait to see how things resolved with Krieg and Mable. Instead she stepped into her office, took out her secret drawer key, gained access to the notebook and made a note of the new Prestation. As she glanced down her list she smiled at how nicely it was filling out. One thing that needed to change though was she needed to have her name added to the 'owed to' column just a little more. It was always good to have more Kindred in her pocket. When she heard Mable speak again from the main room she knew that things had been resolved without either of their deaths, so she was relieved. She hoped that the Prince would punish Mable too severely. Possibly with another addition to her notebook.
She then put the notebook away, locking the drawer behind her, stepped out into the main room, and waited for everyone else to leave.
I'm good to close. Not sure what else to add.
Unless Mable comes into the main area, Ale will return to her office. Good to get this in the books
Mable picks up the room the best she could. To Krieg,"I best go find the Prince and face the music for this mess."
She leaves the room and walks to the Prince's office door. She knocked on the door with confidence she was not feeling.
