Freya was in her office, putting together her schedule to coincide with appointments for the streamers in the House. The door was closed, a familiar song by Emmylou Harris playing in the background as she worked.

Then it happened. The door burst open.

"Freya!" a familiar voice exclaimed.

Freya had jumped at the sudden entrance.

"Shit, Meg!" she said in surprise as she turned, "Knock, huh?"

There stood Megan Li, better known as M3gPl4ys to her followers in subscribers, camcorder in hand. Behind her, the other cast members of Pi3C4keTV. Clearly the group had decided to do an impromptu 'house video' finally showcasing the new house to their fans. And for at least a portion of it, they intended to cave to the demands of some of the comments on their videos. Comments asking to see Freya at least featured in a video.

As if by instinct, Freya reached over to flick off the music. Wayfaring Stranger was a common, traditional song, but Emmylou's rendition had a copyright. Bad for business. Buying the rights was expensive.

Once she did, Meg continued as she and the other members of the house filed in.

"What's this about?" she asked, trying to keep a straight face. As stressful as the streamers could be sometimes, their antics made for... memorable days.

"We're streaming and people kept asking where you were at," Meg explained, "To be fair, you haven't been a video for like months."

"Oh... well hi everyone! The new house is great!" Freya said, doing her best to keep her smile. She wasn't a content creator, so to say that she wasn't really in her element was fair. Assuming the cast would do a quick panoramic of her office before leaving, Freya swiveled her chair around to get back to work.

But they didn't leave.

"Hey, Freya..." said another voice, this time coming from TexMax, another gamer in the house, "Can you sing a song for the stream?"

"What?" Freya asked, the request catching her off guard.

"Ugh, its been in our comments for weeks!" Meg explained, her eyes rolling as she smirked playfully behind the camera, "C'mon... a little love?"

Freya let out an amused huff as she turned.

"Alright..." Freya said, reaching over to the side of her desk, against which leaned her guitar case. Fishing out the instrument, she'd bring it to rest in her lap. She touched it gingerly. It was the first time Freya had brought out since the move. After a moment she looked back to the house members, "What did you want to hear?"

"Whatever comes to your mind first!"

Freya nodded hesitantly for a moment before settling on the first song that landed in her mind. She had just listened to Emmylou's rendition of the Wayfaring Stranger, now it was time to offer a rendition of her own.

In the coming days, the views and likes came in. Sure, the performance was not 'superstar' quality, but it easily showcased Freya's talent and thus the reaction had been rather positive. The stream had been watched many times over with compliments to Freya's skill aplenty... along with a few less than appropriate comments regarding her beauty. When Meg showed her the reaction, Freya remembered Seraphina's offer to go play at her coffee shop.

Perhaps she should look into it soon
