On the rooftop, two jumpers flew over the hole with alacrity and grace, landing on swift, silent feet. The rooftop door was open. The stairwell running down the west side of the building was before them, leading them down into the building, which would need to be swept. Find the people who didn't belong, and do it fast. It was a moment for supernatural investigators to shine.
In the sewers, the team of three awaited their moment. A quick text up to Rebecca Simmons let the Harpy know when to move. The sewer rats could hear her moving above, as the Harpy, a dignified old lady, moved through the observation area of a police observer, who shooed her along.
Naturally, the Harpy knew her business and put up a scene.
Naturally, the cop had to get her out of the way, but didn't want to thug an old lady.
The distraction was set. The manhole cover lifted, and the way into the building was clear, with time to spare to put the cover down. Rebecca was tied up dealing with the cop, but she had done her duty. A quick flip of a latch or two and a move around a shitty parking lot camera, and the ground team was in place.
Rebecca Simmons is, in effect, out of the scene per the distraction. However, she has provided the sewer team their way in.
All hands, you need to find these guys, and they're trying to avoid being found. Thankfully, there are a few of you, and you have the benefit of supernatural disciplines. Rather than make this into a lengthy investigation, I will handle this as follows:
1) The base roll for this is Manipulation + Investigation as you canvas to get clues from the residents of the building where these people are. Please add +3 if you have Dominate 2 or Majesty 2 to assist you. This is a Teamwork Roll. Once all the rolls are made, I will take your assist rolls and add them up, providing that bonus to your best Manipulation + Investigation character. I will then roll the total team roll, and compare it to a teamwork Wits + Stealth as the pair of fugitives attempt to evade detection.
2) Mable may in fact do bat flybys of the outside of the building to get eyes on and try to focus the investigation, allowing the characters to avoid places that obviously don't contain the enemy. Her roll would be Wits + Composure + 3 as she flies around the outside of the building to do a flyby. This will be added as an assist roll to the Manipulation + Investigation total above.
Results will determine the circumstances of the final encounter!
