Police sirens were everywhere, the cordon closing around the Kindred. All had made it in, but one thing was for certain.

Entry had been quiet. So would any fighting, and any escape.

Failure in this regard was certain to bring down the concentrated might of the Sacramento Police Department.

The building itself, some two blocks from them, was not immediately and obviously surrounded by police. Obviously, the cops were letting their quarry think they might have found a safe place to hole up. The criminally-associated Rebecca and Blackbird, and the trained responder Mable knew better. There would almost certainly be plainclothes observers about, and the police's swarm on the building wouldn't be long off.

There was nothing about this that was safe.

There was nothing about this that was routine.

Give me a Wits + Composure - 2 or Wits + Streetwise - 2 for entry points that don't suck. John Davis, you may add +1 to a Wits + Streetwise roll for Tunnel Rat if that is your choice, as you bring a special understanding of your options to the table.

If anyone is feeling bold and wants to throw Wits + Streetwise - 5, a success will get you a guaranteed in through this remarkably challenging situation. This option is not available for any individual who will be on a chance die on the draw; there is no chancing your way through this sort of deliberate web of police. Willpower can be used.

Dirt Nap watches and looks for a likely path into the building, and for likely patches of dirt that could be a makeshift haven in an urgent need, too!

Seven in the group. Some streetwise, others observant - and one who had a very odd skill set for his Clan.

The front door, the side doors; these all were options, but they would certainly be clocked by the police.

Dirt Nap, Mable and Atticus all saw a way through. Climb up a series of fire escapes. Over a rooftop. And then a risky jump from one rooftop to the next. For one such as Mable, one with great skill with the transformative powers of the Gangrel, this would be trivial. Maybe if someone had some rope, she could lead a line over, tie it off, make it easier... but there was risk. A fall from several storeys up could lead to torpor or Final Death. Tactical advantage? They'd have the high ground, and they'd be descending. Cops probably weren't watching the roof. They were less likely to be seen, but failure was dangerous in the extreme.

Of course, on the other hand, the tunnel explorer John Davis knew of one option that no other did. A stealth approach, to be sure: a way through the sewers that would lead them to the parking lot behind the target tower. Come out the manhole, sneak into the building... it wasn't a perfect option, but it did have some merit. On the other hand, if they got seen, they'd not only be noticed, but be super suspicious.

Nap sees there are plenty of potential locations for a clever Gangrel to sleep in the area.

Atticus turns to Priscus Wood. "Are you well?" He asks.

With that question asked he looks about to take stock of who is with them 6 Kindred and Davis. Very well then.

"What do we know?" Atticus asks as he looks up the building. Atticus only knew what was in the text and little else. He did not want to go in blind.
