No need to worry Sand deltadream . The Mystery Woman tried to throw Sand off and failed, so as far as I'm concerned (and from your posting) Sand is still hanging onto Mystery Woman in such a way as to hamper her actively getting into the car.

Then Kaze suits his deeds to his words, and steps back, moving off the area of lessened friction, putting the slipper ground between him and the man in the fedora.

Kaze holds any further action, watching to see if the lady will assault Councillor Sand, and if the man in the trench coat will complete his escape.

The Guardian huffed in annoyance. The whole night had been an exemplar of Murphy's law at work. His cover? Burnt; no point in keeping the pantomime further. If only Alastor and Weavebreaker had beaten some sense into their ranks.
Coat guy was leaving; cursing his luck, the Obrimos evaluated the options. There were no Sleepers around, good, for the conclusion was a very unGuardian-like one. He curled his hands into fists, his face hardened as surge of supernal energy washed upon him.

Messy, very messy. A hand with his knife extends as Langdon pulls on the world beyond the world to slow down the person in the car. A brown glyphs flies out to the ground under Coats car.

"Get off!" Mystery Woman all but shrieks, panic and something else leeching into her voice. This time, the woman throws her entire bodyweight into the struggle and succeeds in throwing Sand off*. She is panting now. And her eyes are turning... bloodshot.

Behind them both, things are happening. Fast.

If anyone cared to look, Winter was powering up as a Glyph flared crimson and settled on his brow. Fortunately, the spell was not vulgar and mundane eyes would only perceived the way the Guardian stood erect with his fist's clenched as the power washed over him.

Over in the parking lot Cloak was tossed about inside his vehicle as the ground beneath effectively turned to liquefaction. Spinning wheels gurgled as they became trapped in the syrupy mess.

Fedora made his dash to Cloak's vehicle but was stopped by the entire process. His entire effort was spent not running into the slick and wet mess.

To clarify Sand deltadream Mystery Woman broke free of Sand's grip. I'm ruling that this was not an attack that did damage; rather Mystery Woman is now free of her grip and still holding the keys to her car.

Cloak has effectively lost his action as he was tossed around in the car as it partially sunk into the semi-liquified ground. Fedora was spending his turn getting to the car as well, but was left standing to one side as Langdon Kelreth spell took effect. When this turn ends, the spell will end, sealing the car partially in the ground (though Cloak will be able to escape).

Kaze takes advantage of the fedora wearing man's turning away to renew his own, personal state of invisibility.
