Mable Belle gives people who stare a flirtatious wave and wink. "This is fun." She whispers to Davis. The sights and sounds of the casino are a bit overwhelming at first and she grabs his arm tighter. "Oh my, so many brights colors and loud sounds." her ears were used to the sounds of nature.
Davis pats Mable's arm. "The fun is just beginning." Davis absorbs the lights and sounds of the Casino. "I will keep you safe."
Davis escorts Mable through the casino, tipping his hat at the onlookers. Past all the slot machines, past the buffets, past the craps and roulette tables, straight to the card tables. Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Let it Ride. "Would you like to start out with the lesser parlor games or are you ready for some higher stakes?"

Mable grinned, "High Stakes. Or what ever is furthest away from those slots things that make so much noise." She wrinkled her nose at the machines.
"High stakes it is dear." Davis escorts Mabel away from the noises of the Casino at large toward the high roller area and the private poker lounge.
"Excuse me," a thin employee in a tux stuck his hand out stopping the progression of Mable and Davis. "This area is for elite members only."
"Why, sir, they do not get any more elite than I. Do you know you have the right honor of addressing "the" Colonel John Jefferson Davis of the Isle of Capri Casinos, now in the hands of Eldorado Resorts. Perhaps you have heard of me, I'm sure your boss has and can assure you he would not be happy that you kept me out of losing money in his house."
"Well, errr, go ahead Mr. Davis."
"Don't mind if I do."

Mable simply stood there with her head tilted at a coquettish manner. in a light southern drawl Mable said quietly, "Sweetie, perhaps you should have greased his palm a bit? That always increases memories." She sashayed in passed the doorman on Davis's arm.
"Indeed, I should have. But then that would have been less for us to tempt other players with."
Davis escorts Mable to the quiet cardroom where a group of hardened gamblers are staring each other down.
"Care if we join?" Davis asks a table with open seats. He reeaches in his pocket and pulls out a swollen wallet of cash.

Mable gives a wide eyed look and smile. "Excuse me gentlemen, You don't mind a lady joining you? I certainly hope not. I was promised to learn how to play and, well, my gentleman friend here has what is needed to cover me." She places a finger to her lips. "Oh, I forgot I have a little mad money too for this venture." She reaches into her cleavage and pulls out a few hundred dollars.
Then she starts to lift her skirt a little as a tease, running her hand up her knee to mid-thigh. "No, I will wait on that money until I see how I do." She slowly smoothed her skirt down again. And winked at Davis. Mable was having a blast in her little gambler persona.

At the table is a preppy college kid, honeymooning husband and wife, a Texan, and a second string movie actor.
Davis pulls a seat out for Mable and takes the one next to her. He then exchanges his cash for chips. "Why gentlemen and ladies, it is a right honored pleasure to wager my wealth with you."
Davis pitches in the ante and plays the first round.

Mable gives John a look through her lowered eyelashes, "Why thank you, my sweet." She looks around the table, "Good evening folks. And good luck."
She sees John anti up and she puts in the same amount in the same way. She carefully watches each person and how they do it. Also how they are sitting and their general body language. She isn't trying to read them right now just figure out who they might be. The Texan, the actor, and the preppy kid she would have to watch. She had seen a world poker game on TV before and the least likely people tended to be the craftiest at the game. She could cause a fight between the husband and wife so there was that for a distraction tactic.
Mable looks at her cards and bites her lower lip in concentration as she tried to remember the order the hands went in for best hands.
