A triumphant grin graces Chantay's features as the wall slides aside. "Ha! That got it." She flexed the fingers of her hand appraisingly. "A lot less painful this time around too." She glanced at the wall then motioned to Seth, and to the flashlight in his hands. "Mind enlightening us as to what's waiting on the other side?"
Seth just nods and shines the flashlight down the newly opened door. He looks down the path and coughs a little either from the cig in his mouth or the dust shook loose by the door.

And a damn good thing he did. The first thing past the darkness is a gaping hole, looking down, you can make out some bones, though its tough at this distance to tell if they are animal or human.

"Well it sure seems like someone wanted something not to be found..." Chantay starts looking around in the light afforded to her by the flashlight. Hopefully there was some way around the pit. Or, barring that, a way to climb down into it. She really didn't want to have to jump.

it seems like jumping is the only way, aside from climbing down.

"Well this is some Indiana Jones looking shit..." Seth says as he takes a drag off of his smoke. "Anybody bring some rope?"

"Not enough smart remarks for this to be an Indiana Jones film...and I don't think we have any rope." Which meant there didn't seem to be anything for it but to jump. Her voice trailed off at the end of her last sentence as she studied the pit intently, trying to determine just how difficult of a jump it would be.

It is a eleven foot gap. (remember that size factors in to the equation, so forms other than hishu might be better choices). it is a str+athletics roll, see the athletics skill in the corebook for more details.
