He remained cheerful. "Hopefully, brains and beauty go hand in hand. We'll have to see where things go."

"Seven", the Mastigos was still dancing around the issue. "I'm afraid those that persevered before weren't as noble as we originally thought", he was talking about what they had found below the Circle. "Tens barely pay me any attention, and I'm glad", was he cracking a joke?
