The premise was to find a quiet and healthy dining place. The quick search on the phone’s browser promptly yielded a few results. The first was too far away, the second was already fully booked and the third held a promise of a new and unique experience.
Queen Sheba’s Ethiopian restaurant advertised the vibrant colors and rich spices on it’s dishes as well as the quality of its ingredients and the possibility for vegan options. Nebula intended to find out if the colors in the photos and the positive comments were any indication as to the flavors of the exotic compositions. Initially she even pondered Uber Eats for ordering and take-away but then decided that eating at the venue would definitely be a much richer experience, mostly because the place also marketed the immersion into the flavors and aromas of faraway lands – a trip to the senses.
The Mastigos parked her motorcycle not far from the restaurant’s door and stepped out. Apparently the place was starting to get crowded, there was a handful of waiters flying around the place carrying either dishes with a thick stew on top of a piece of flatbread and several different grains of fantastic colors arranged around the center or they were serving trays of small cups of strong aromatic coffee. As for the decoration it seemed slightly outdated and rustic, if almost non descript, except for a mural painting on the outside. Nebula decided to come in and find out for herself what it was all about… Ethiopian Cuisine.
