Lina Moretti loved her armchair and her old antique desk, both relics of her old life, and both well-loved and broken in. The place where she did a lot of her best thinking, she'd moved it into her office at the new Haven she now shared with the Ventrue, Aaron van Valen. Her decorating was spartan so far, not having had a lot of effort or money poured into it yet, but the desk was set out from the wall and facing into the room. It had two matching chairs on the opposite side, and on the far wall was a whiteboard, devoid of notes at this point. An empty poster-sized frame was on the wall behind the detective's chair, its contents not yet selected.
All told, moving into their new Haven had worked out pretty well so far. It was more than big enough for the two of them, and the place was set in a part of town that just made feeding much easier. Aaron had chosen well. She was curious to see what Dragon knowledge he would use to set up some serious feng shui here.
"Hey, Aaron?" she called out. "What do you think I should put in this frame?"
Steeling herself for the strength of his Beast, she stared at the blank frame on the wall behind her, her swivelly armchair spun around.
