(1807) High Summer Court

Another night, another Court. Which meant putting on a smile and being social. And sometimes that was fun and sometimes it wasn’t.

Tonight? She was on the fence about it. The Domain was filled with new Kindred, some she had met, some she had yet to talk to. Would tonight be the night to meet the new faces, or was someone going to royally fuck up again and need to be taken care of?

So she stands behind her desk, her hands absently smoothing the none existent wrinkles from her deep red gauze dress. A hand then touches the black belt that accentuated her tiny waist, she was making an effort to night. The red was color, the belt was maybe fashionable, maybe. But hell, it was kinda fun. A black halter style bra was visible, as were most of her tattoos. It hit mid thigh, so most of her leg ink was visible. Most. Her lips matched the dress and her long hair had a soft curl to it.

But she would still render someone to ash if she had to. Dress be damned, she could still kick ass if she needed to.

Entering Court, there was a pause in her steps, dark eyes moving around the room.

The first she see’s is Rebecca, looking quite summer like with her skirt. Her Beast takes notice of the weaker Beast, beginning to pace its cage, rage building.

Davis was spied sitting in a corner, his Beast getting the same reaction. Her own wanted his blood painted on the walls. Would he pose another problem tonight, or was his position in the corner his way of licking his wounds?

Then there was Mable, her Priscus. And even though they were family, her Beast still wanted to rend the flesh from her bones. Now the dress? Well, the Savage supposes it was nice, a little too flowerily for her tastes, but whatever worked for Mable.

Krieg was spotted, his giant form hard to miss. Though thankfully his Beast was silent, a welcome reprieve.

Lina was looking rather casual, but in a cute way, and the coat looked comfortable. Her Beast continued its pacing around the cage, silently urging Ale to grow her claws and end the weaker one.

Now Clara was standing out tonight. Her outfit quite eye catching and fit her well. But she expected nothing less from a Daeva. The weak Beast? She could do without that, and her own grinned, putting ideas into her mind about how to end the enticing vixans unlife.

Aaron was one she hadn’t spoken with, but he appeared to have put a little extra into his outfit. Though her Beast wanted nothing more than to remove his head.

But she wouldn’t give into her Beast. Not tonight.

She finds a spot to observe, mostly Krieg, and be seen. Her posture was open, in case someone wished to speak with her. But for now she was content to see who talked with who, who would stand alone.

The Apex predator of Sacramento arrives and Aaron's head turns - his Beast immediately withdraws from its hungry prowl. Backed into a corner, he composes himself.

Damn.

He had preferred to meet with the Prince's Seneschal before approaching her directly, but it seemed like Vivian was not around yet. And what was the worst that could happen? Alessandra had made her power known last Court, but she did not strike him as the irrational aggressive Prince.

'Your Majesty,' the Lord forced himself to approach her, and makes a respectful bow as he waits for her to acknowledge his presence.

It was always nice when others felt comfortable enough to approach her. She never wanted to be a Prince who wasn’t approachable.

This was a new one, one she had yet to talk to and learn the name of. His Beast was weak, and her own snarled its dislike of it. But he had a confident presence, so he had that going for him.

“Buona serata,” says the Savage with an easy-going smile. “I don’t believe we’ve met.”

Mable gave a bright smile when John Davis greeted her so sweetly. She was a little bummed when he walked away so quickly, but she understood he had other court business to attend to tonight.

As always she was happy to see Krieg. Suddenly she realized she didn't know if Krieg was his first or last name. Or maybe he only had one name like Cher, Madonna, and other people like that. She stared at him for longer than she should as she thought about this. She would ask next time they were in private.

Rebecca Simmons, or rather Madam Simmons. She would try to remember that. Conversation was moving swiftly but she did manage, "Nice to meet you."

Mable started to turn to Clara to greet her when another new face, Lina Moretti, came in. Clara scooped her up very quickly before Mable could introduce herself.

Another male came in, she hadn't met him yet. She had heard his name somewhere, maybe last court? It was a singers name, umm Van Halen? That was close but she was sure it wasn't it. He greeted Madam Simmons and she responded with Priscus Van Valen. Ahhh, that was pretty close to the singer. Wait, Her eyebrows raised for a moment, Priscus??? He quickly left them before she could introduce herself and ask about it.

The Prince had arrived. Mable gave a respectful slight bow of her head to acknowledge the Prince and her entrance. Hopefully Ale was no longer angry with her.

"OMG", Mable didn't mean to say that out loud. Vivian had just entered court. The outfit was spectacular and just wow, I can't believe it all at once. Mable felt very boring next to her.

[Izayoi Goto]

Emulating the season while allowing for a somewhat formal air, the Shadow dawns a one piece outfit, coloured in navy.

The shadow covers her daisho, as she descends into willingly into hell. The gate rattle and thrash at the impossible press of devils and demons.

Izayoi pauses at the landing, gathering her bearing while providing those in power a respective bow.

When the tides of Jigoku recessed she straightens and sees just who had risked the scant night time hows to once more join the danse.


Seeing the wholesome savage, the shadow moves close. "Priscus Mable Wood , greetings." she gives the women a bow, "How has the evening treated you thus far?" she asks with a plesent smile upon her lips.
