Thus mouth only opened for another bite of donut.
Thankfully, data flow in was not interrupted. Perhaps next time an opinion could be formulated.
"I am well aware of the fact that I have been among you for about a minute and a half, so I'm not about to tell you folks how to do your business. However, as a general proposition, having structure in place so you're ready to handle growth is never a bad idea. Particularly if there's more than one Cabal running about..."
He shrugged. Trust the Arrow to like rank and file.
"Anyway. Whatever's efficient. I'll be around, if anybody finds themselves in need of backup. I'll leave my number on the board."
He found a seat, sat down and let himself fall silent. No point in stepping on toes.
"Fair enough," Campanella conceded.
"I still believe that we have enough structure for now. This is a Consilium of one Cabal and a group of independents. Until that changes we won't really need a Hierarch. Same for a Sentinel - an ad hoc approach appears to be working... Unless someone can articulate a pressing need for one. As for a group letter - or a message board. Why not? As we have increased in numbers perhaps we need someone to ensure we are all informed - or at least maintain a community notice board. If the Free Council wish to take that upon themselves, so be it."
After a moment of reflection, he nodded across the chamber to Alastor.
"Thank you."
She calmly sips her coffee and nibbles the donut as words were spoken. Some good, some not, but that was to be expected with the influx of new Awakened.
Personally, she saw no need to change how things were. It was working and there was no need to complicate it. Campy was making some good points, and she nods.
"I second that, there is no real pressing need to change how things are currently running. But I believe that should the situation change, we can make changes as needed. Adapt." she wasn't a Ladder anymore, the push for structure wasn't an issue anymore. "And the communication thing, the message board, sounds like a great idea." communication was key to working together.
Guardian, the Acanthus said, followed by words rippling in the pound. Her brows arch and her memorable face with it's fleeting impression, portrays her support upon the words.
This wasn't a Consilium.
(something churns within)
It was just a bookclub.
(a giddy excitement bubbles, trying valiantly to pass through bleak painted lips)
"I will set up a message board, and consolidate all our rumours, and actual events. Like that of these tass excreting bugs into a newsletter, so we can stay up to date, while not wasting time with going over the same information when someone not in the know arrives.
This way we can hopefully focus on more important things."
Circles within Circle, words are spoken but silence hold favour.
The day continues, and eventually the Wise grow tired of these quiet circles within the Circe and take their leave.
I'll get the next Sanctuary open in a jiffy!
