Were her human throat able to do it, she would have rumbled a wordless sound of agreement, before she snorts, "I'm the last person you'll find afraid of a walk."

Shoving her hands into her pockets. "Good either, way. You lead. I follow. Might task Chris and Tristan to cover west and south." they were four, but they weren't alone. They didn't have to do anything alone. Which is good. Warm. Made her feel good, which was shit. She liked it, but fuck. Gah. Stupid. "Get the show on the road?"

Hector is already moving.

He pounds the streets, dodging and weaving through the foot traffic. The rain continues to pour and the drenched herd hem them in, hunched under their weeping umbrellas or hurtling to and fro in a desperate attempt to avoid the pounding rain. After a point, the Alpha wolf's irritation shows and he growls loudly until the herd give him space.

Hector chooses to ignore the shocked and contemptuous stares.

Around them, the city slowly changes. The streets widen; the buildings grow in stature. Traffic - both pedestrian and vehicular - chokes the streets; scent of rain becomes lost in the exhaust clogged air. And then they - blessedly - pass through the heart of the city. While the tarmac tracks still snarl around them, the buildings begin to shrink.

The border of the pack's territory comes into view. Conveniently located where I-80 scythes into the city.

With an audible sigh, Hector pushes on into the green refuge of Southside Park. He comes to rest under a tree with an impressive view of the park's lake. Normally, one might expect the herd to be hanging out and enjoying the peace of the natural world; but the down pour continues and they are completely alone.

The bustle of the city presses in, the only reprieve in the rain pouring upon the earth. Renewing life and clearing the air. Hector moves showing his ease in the cramped claustrophobic space, but even then, she hears the inhuman growl he looses at the umbrella using herd.

She smirks, snorting out a laugh as they fleet. Their flight or flight triggered by the subliminal thread of ohfucknothisisapredator

Viola keeps up. Two legs or four this is what she's good at, even if she's more used to four.

The city shifts, changing, growing like the Shadow dose when they step from one domain to another. In moments like this, Viola can't tell if the flesh follows shadow or if shadow follows flesh.

Stopping as her Alpha dose, Viola steals the clean air for her breath, as her looses a few pants of her own. This was easier on four legs and it shouldn't be. There was supposed to be a balance. The Rahu needed to work harder.

"We following the line north? Or we heading east? Check out damage. See if it's healing?"

[Hector]

"Lets check around here first," Hector advised. "This is the big slice of green land on our side of the border. Easy to forget but this park has its own needs that are different to the city. Once we're done here we move east."

He made to move off but paused.

"Unless you want to check out the cemetery? On the wrong side of pack territory but close enough if you want to check for potential problems. You know, the kind that could become our problem if we let it sit?"

He let his posture make it clear he was willing to let his pack mate make that decision for them.

She nods. Might as well since they were here, 'bout ready to shove off and scent the area, seeing what there was to see, she stops. Huh. More points to Hector. Not a lot of People would invite questions once they were declared Alpha.

"Don't think any of us have really bothered with the cemetery. Should check it out. Like you said, better to check it out now before it becomes like fucked up mess like the cats turned out to be."

[Hector]

Hector grunted.

"Cool." His voice was distant, distracted. So where his eyes. Her Alpha was peering across the Gauntlet.

Evidently, Viola's words had registered with him because after a few moments of vague staring, he shook himself and nodded to the south.

"So lets go wake the dead. Or something."

He moved off, simply expecting Viola to follow behind.

I didn't bother with any rolls this time. Its a narrative scene and there is no plot here.

Viola rolls a rock under her boot as Hector's eyes remain unfocused on the flesh. Waiting for a signal to anything as he Peers.

She smirks when he refocuses, "Sounds good to me. Wanna call the others. See if they're near?" Viola asks already following after him. Her Alpha moved and like hell she wouldn't follow.
