Mhairi frowns, because really didn't know which it was.

Taking a sip of her drink, Mhairi looks for another to talk to, leaning away from Ingrid who didn't want to talk to her, and the Fairests who'd garnered the Darkling's attention.

With an internal shrug, Mhairi stepped towards Brigid and Thomas, maybe they'd like to talk to her.

Feeling a loss for words and a sudden urge to distance himself from his train of thought, Quick sizes up the crowd. A few familiar faces - namely Circe and Ingrid - are chatting it up with that Sasha girl. The Winter Queen, or whatever. He's got half a mind to introduce himself, but thinks better of it. If three's a crowd, what the hell is four?

Instead, spotting Alex and Sera by themselves, he makes his way over.
