(The Dark) Pandora's Box

Kid goes down. And from the way he's pumping blood, Cross figures him for a Breather. A beat and then Cross moves for Beauty Boy's prone form. Gun still drawn, just in case.

It's the shotgun he wants. And any spare ammunition. Not like the kid's going to need it.

The smell of blood in the air, the sight of it gushing from Beauty Boy's wounds. For a moment the Beast growls in Cross's ear. A single word. An order. Drink. But the Burned Man resists the Monster's demand with all his might. There's no time to waste.

Focusing on the task at hand, Cross rips the shotgun away from his victim and quickly ferrets out any spare shells that Beauty Boy may have squirreled away.

Cross is spending his turn requisitioning Beauty Boy's weapon and ammo. Let me know if this requires a roll to get the gun away from him! Or, if BB tries to raise his weapon as Cross approaches, he'll use his action to fire off another shot.

Claw Chick hissed in a very serpentine manner as she burst into motion like an uncoiling spring. She threw all her weight behind one punishing strike. The pillar, an ugly chunk of naked metal offered Lonstreet something to bob and weave behind. Still, her raking fingers found his leg as they swung on their mesmerising arc!

The Monstrously scarred Nosferatu was still trying to make sense of the antiseptic and clean floor. He picked up on something from the look of it. Wandering on all fours like a primordial animal, he tracks right passed Ale's position, only noting her crouched position at the last instant when his eyes lift off the ground. A manic grin splits his ruined face, his tongue lolls in anticipation.

Ugly Gunner snapped off a shot from his corner with a yokel holler. Its a tough shot, firing into the murky gloom of the warehouse where shapes are indistinct and where limbs and bodies writhe in the opening moves of bloody battle. His shot cuts into Longstreet's side - more luck than aim on the part of the rifle man.

The Wild Man, evidently in a world of his own, charges into the basement looking for things to kill. Apparently the crazed knife wielding man with his foaming mouth and wide eyes is deaf to the gunshots and sounds of battle behind him.

The Monster burns his action looking around. He is now effectively in front of Ale.

Claw Chick attacks. She doesn't charge. She spends Vitae to heal.

FYI (if interested) I'm counting the pillars as granting Partial Concealment. These are big, ugly supports. The poor lighting also confers a -1 penalty.

She should have expected the explosion of sound, but she with her hearing enhanced as it was nothing could truly steal her for just how incredibly loud it was...then there was the blood.

If she wasn't a corpse, terrified of spending the dregs of blood in her veins her mouth would be watering.

Shifting out from the bushes, Alice is drawn to the blood like the predator she is. Falling to her knees, little knife poised. It would be so easy to just bend down farther, brush her lips against flesh, snake her tongue against, around...her fangs itched.

Without realizing it they descend.

It would be so fucking easy...

And like a sign, a scarred guy appears, on all fours, in her line of sight. She wasn’t worried about being found, she wanted one to break off. It was easier to thin their numbers if only one came after her.

She sees his grin, and returns on of her own as her guns were leveled upon him and her fingers pull the triggers.

Beauty Boy is no fighter. His inexperience with a shot gun was proof of that. His shock at the extent of his injuries also told. And before he could heal - assuming he had actual Vitae in his veins - the pale wraith descends and finishes him.

Cross has his gun. Alice has his life.

The Suit is has guessed at Ale's presence. If he'd needed confirmation the eruption from her hand cannons proved it. The Monster growls as he is cut to ribbons - the blasts (for Ale cannot say if both her shots hit for the carnage) would have felled a human being; they should have felled an average Kindred, at least for a while. The Monster is still... squatting... but he sure ain't smiling.

"Hyah!" Is it a battle cry? A rush of air as he leaps brutally over the Monster and barrels into Ale? Hard to say. Suit charges - or leaps, rather - over his Brood-mate and hurls himself down upon the Reeve.

Or at least, that was his intention. He... kind of... misses. Recovers with a rude backhand from a flailing limb as he rights himself. He's still overexposed as he scrambles round to face the Reeve of Sacramento.

Chain Saw has something to aim for now, what with muzzle flashes and the Suit leaping into battle. He moves on the pillar but he doesn't run. No, like a slasher in a bad movie he stalks over, revving his weapon of choice for kicks! He's hunting. Hunting Ale!

Suit charges into Ale. He is at 0 Defence next turn. Ruling he was sufficiently placed to avoid the pillar being a form of cover; concealment effects still in place.

Chain Saw spends his action moving into place. He'll attack next turn if things go his way...

Alice descends on the kid and the world stops for a moment. She's there. Unharmed. Safe. For now.

"Alice," is all he manages. The relief audible in his voice.

But there's no time for warm reunions. And anyway, the Beast has tasted blood and wants more. A kind of drumbeat starts in the back of his head. A completely instinctual mantra that can best be translated as: Kill. Kill. Kill. KILL.

"C'mon," he growls to the Blind Doll. With that, he moves back to the doorway, reflexively letting his heightened hearing fade to normal levels in preparation of what's to come. Leaning through the door to maintain some semblance of cover on one of his flanks, he lines up a target with the shotgun and fires on whichever adversary is closest to the him.

Longstreet holds... barely... The Claw Chick stretches and twists, vitae fuelled muscles straining. The pair of them twist and shake, roiling together in mortal combat.

The Monster laughs and scrabbles out of the way, ducking out of sight in front of the pillar Ale is positioned behind.

The Ugly Gunner was preparing to fire off another shot when Cross appeared in the doorway. His yowl of agony joins the sounds of general mayhem.

Wild Man, howling, appears on the stairs from the basement. At least he is happy, waving his knives about with glee.

Ugly Gunner is too busy checking his wound / trying to find enough shadows to hide in, to do much else.

Alice let's Robert pull her up, the Burned man and his burnt scent leading her even as his steps echo within her ears.

The sudden explosive sound of the shotgun bast paired with the blood behind her, and the blood now a head of her, has her reeling.

The Wraith thrashes, and her tongue finds her fangs, sharp, and piercing and there.

It echos. Ringing. It is solid and immaterial, but it affects her more then the - no. She's better then this. Robert's scent leads her towards the enemy, his steps stop, hers do not.

Chaos and mayhem, she just can't seem to pin point anything in this sudden mess of sound.

Frowning the Blind Doll cocks her ear and leans in to the sound. Ignoring the part of her that delights in the dead blood behind her, and the fresh dead blood that lay a head of her.
