Charlie watches Mairsil as he joins the others. Keeping his eye on him while Alexander keeps his eye on the other.
What's with the change in moods all of the sudden? And does Alexander really think he's going to solve this with a gun? He's not the only one who's undead. Let's just hope Mairsil plans on acting as a mediator in this and decides not to jump in.
At this moment, I see nothing more to do than roll Initiative.

Regardless of Alexander's demands, Mairsil does not halt in his approach of the two quarreling kindred. As his footsteps come closer a slight grin even begins to form on the Architect's face.
Thick with mad jubilation and Russian accent, Mr. Petrov speaks again. "Is this a fight? Which of you two is the better? I'm dying to see."

I do want to also note, there are still cops and bystanders at the front of the diner. It's unclear why they haven't already noticed what's going on back behind the place, where the vamps are.

Charlie notices Mairsil taking steps forward and rather than stepping forward to meet him head on, he carefully and quietly slips back into the drivers side of the truck.
Not quite sure what Mairsil intends to do, but I'm not exactly strong enough to stop him...but this truck is.

Mairsil Petrov did not like being ignored.
"It is impolite to not respond to your betters." It was a simple statement, but it conveyed his feelings on the matter of being disregarded. His mad eyes turned to the newcomer who was almost ran down by the truck. "And who is this worm?"
John smiles at the man with the gun, then rushes forward and grapples him. Holding him by the arms, where his gun is not as effective.

Mairsil continues to find himself ignored by the combattants as John rushes forward and wraps Alexander in a very strong grip.
Alexander can attempt to break John's grip, or attempt an Overpower maneuver (twisting the gun to get off a shot, kicking/punching, etc.). Either requires him to roll Str + Brawl vs. John's current Strength of 5.
