After getting off the phone with Varyx, Faye looks at what she was wearing, her training clothes. So she kept her leggings on, but threw an oversized off the shoulder sweater on over them. On her feet were specialized shoes she performed in.

The apartment is more of an open floor loft, walls bare red brick and floor a darker wood. It was clearly a loft that was done by hand. The living room area had oversized couches covered by a beige fabric with brightly colored pillows and wooden crates and boxes made up tables and shelf's. Soft white LED lights were strung around the room in various places. Her fav part of the loft? Her bed. Which was full of fabric, with a rigged canopy system, also full of flowing fabric and soft white lights mixed in with the hanging fabric. Near a window was a ballet bar with colored mats beneath it. There was also a hula-hoop with five prongs that stuck out on it, as well as a sword near it.

Sure, she could have had Varyx meet her at the Sanctum, but she wanted to show off this place. Her sanctuary.

Varyx arrived not long after, approaching the door with the tell-tale clicking of her heels along the sidewalk. She was dressed comfortably, in tights, a loose blouse fitted with a belt, and a long cardigan over-top. Looking up at the building, she nodded once to herself and walked up to the door, ringing the bell and waiting for Faye to answer.

"Hey, it's me. Buzz me in?"

It only takes Faye a few seconds to bounce over and push the buzzer.

That done, she moves to open the door, waiting to greet Varyx with a smile,

“Hey there! Come in.” her smile wide and friendly as an arm sweeps behind her. She was looking forward to talking with Varyx. “Want a beer now, or something else?”

Heading upstairs, Varyx let her eyes wander over the apartment, her lips parting slightly before curling upward. "Faye, this place is gorgeous. I love it!" And there was honest enthusiasm there, not just empty praise of the sort people usually spouted when they entered someone else's home for the first time.

"I've been itching to try that beer of yours, if you don't mind," she answered, smiling and stepping a little further into the apartment before she paused to take off her shoes and waited for Faye.

Faye beams, “Thank you!” closing the door once Varyx stepped inside. “It’s my little sanctuary away from real life.” She adds.

When she mentions the beer, Faye heads over to the fridge, pulling out a couple unmarked bottles. “Go ahead and have a seat,” she says as she opens the bottles, “So, how you’ve been?” she asks, handing a beer to Varyx and sitting on the couch, pulling her long legs under herself.

Varyx was just reaching for the offered beer when her phone buzzed. She frowned and checked the text, then winced. "Oh dear. I'm afraid there's been an incident at work. I'm going to have to deal with this." She smiled apologetically. "Raincheck? I'd still love to try that beer."
