Mhairi really should get off her tushy and call Coco Tascioni and take her up on that offer to put her up at Edna's in return for dinner, but-but yummy!
Mhairi had been eyeing a man - a mark, as he walked in front of her, but an echo of a memories drew her away, bells. When she was still in training the sound of bells meant failure, causing Mhairi to stop short of knocking into her mark and slipping away with his wallet. Mhairi turned to face the offending bell sound, but saw that it was just bells over a doorway. The kind used to alert shop owners that someone had entered or exited their establishment. The 'Open' sign blinked in the window, as a slow realization hit Mhairi.
It was ice cream!
She was an elemental, emotionally repressed, stunted, full of fire and stars, elemental, but there was just something about ice cream that drew a childlike excitement from her. Dismissing her would-be mark from her mind. There would always be another one, and Mhairi hopped, skipped and jumped across the street, making a bee-line for the door with the bells.
It was an old style ice cream parlor, Mhairi noted as her attention was focused on menu. Cones, milkshakes, sundaes, floats....what did she want? Her fell-flame gaze was drawn toward the clear glass display cases, ohhh what flavor did she want?
That question kept her attention with such a ferocity that the Ruination could have stood there with her stupid Fae face and Mhairi wouldn't have noticed.
