Desperation at fleeing the obvious werewolf, Matthew runs back, and is halfway to the bar. Bridger gives chase, but is now just behind him.
Thomas throws himself in front of Bridger, but his attempt at stopping the brute is weak and nearly ineffective. His shoulder tackle does little more than leave a bruise on the chasing Bridger. (no defence applied because you were chasing Matthew)2 successes
Yumyumcrow Aeneas is up. After Aeneas then Bridger can go.

From an energised stalk to a sudden burst of speed - Aeneas moves like the wind at Bridger's bark. He was already moving towards the running scuffle but at the Rahu's cry, the Irraka sprints into action and turns his feet towards the fleeing man with the phone.
Aeneas has a Speed of 18 with his Fleet of Foot. At a full sprint that will be 36 for one turn and he'll be focussing on that - and not much else - for this action.Matrixchild

He had to catch him. He had to grab him no matter what and stop him or worse things could come. Sue he wanted to get both of them, but the phone was priority, then the other fool.

Thomas takes a different approach. Seeing matthew head to the bar, he runs to the door of the truck and opens it. (Miscelanneous action)
Matthew's initial burst of speed can't keep up with the hardened werewolf, and despite being so close to the door, Bridger overtakes Matthew. (And may make a free attack)
Matrixchild Yumyumcrow both of you may now go.
He had him now and to make sure of that Bridger took the man into a bear hug. He wasn't getting away now.
I know AoA can't be used in Grapple, but I believe it can be used to establish a grapple. Brute Force 2 for AoA

AoA can be used to establish a grapple, but you can't sacrifice defence twice in a turn, which you do when you are chasing someone

This predator won't be denied!
Aeneas closes, slowing as he takes aim...
... And swings his booted foot at the offending hand and cell phone. The Irraka hopes he has enough strength to shatter hand and phone - or at least send the phone skittering away.

It takes a full charge from Aeneas, but he is able to get the phone boucning down the parking lot.
Pure desperation fueling him, Matthew slips Bridger's grip, and runs to the door. "HELP!" He screams again.
Order: Bridger and Thomas (the talker in Khakis) (9), Aeneas (8). Matthew (0).
Aeneas and Bridger are attacking Matthew. Thomas is in the Van.
Behind the two werewolves, they hear the starting of an enginge, followed by the slamming of a door.
Mayhem. That's what things were like right now. Bridger knew that first thing was first, he needed to drop out of half-man mode or he'd freak out more people. Clearly these two already knew his secret. He didn't want anyone else to get any ideas based on his appearance. He felt the essence through him as he shifted back into Hishu form.
Hearing the van start he worried that one would either try to run him over or get away. Either way he wanted his human shield/hostage. Again he charged at the man and grabbed him, hoping Aeneas would get the phone.
-1 essence to reflexive shift. Sorry I had one die too many, still 4 suxx. Strength is 3 for Grapple
