(2015 AU) Autumn Coronation

Milo's hilarity having quickly faded, the allure of people watching having devolved into simple boredom, and her second mug of cider having proven to be not as enchanting as the first, Coco cast her eyes about for something novel to do, or talk to, and that was when she spotted another, familiar, exuberant patch of vibrant red hair heading towards her lone friend in the Freehold.

A smile settling itself appropriately across her features, Coco set her steps towards the reunion of the two Autumn courtiers...

After having a pleasant little chat with Ava and Coco, and seeing Rick and L'aire still conversing with Milo, Terri took the opportunity to get herself a drink before joining the group by the hearth.

Standing and moving away from her Motley mate and new acquaintance, Lynn brushed a strand of hair back behind one ear.

"L'aire. Milo. What is it I can help you with?" Glancing between the two, Lynn wondered absently which hat she'd be wearing for this conversation; Steward, Spring's Emissary or if it was something entirely unrelated.

His conversations with the Council done, the Fairest had gone to swear his freehold oath. Brother Lucas had said that Court positions were still available and valid for dealing with in Court concerns so to that end Milo reluctantly lingered by his Queen for a quick chat.

"Ms Jasons," Milo said before departing from her company. "I wanted to volunteer my services to the Court for another year, but not precisely in the same capacity. Would it be possible to talk privately at some point before the Winter?"

Because as much as he wanted it, he knew anyone familiar with the Autumn Court would look nervously at the person who wanted the position of Barrow Tender. Discretion, as Milo was slowly learning, was needed with certain topics and circumstances.

Betony had kept her eye on the Changelings who had gathered to their event. Some in particular she kept watch on more than others. How could the Witch of Bitterwinds miss the stir that one kept doing, leaving a wake of disturbed leaves.

She’d pulled her wrap around her, nodding to the Chernbog. “Now is as good a time as any, Milo.”

Betony hadn’t left her seat yet, but awaited an answer to her question. “Is this a more private matter, do we need to go inside. Or will here in a corner suffice?”

Leaving her mug of fateful though half finished cider on the nearest table, the Claviger of Spring departed.

Milo rode a bit of a roller coaster around the Coronation, talking to and agitating various parties. L'aire seemed to make it out without getting stabbed now that the Wasp had departed, and Milo managed what he saw as a promotion. He was somewhat disappointed that they had to confront the Wasp instead of simply neglecting her, but now that she was aware maybe she wouldn't buzz about her enemies and finally move on.

Milo lingered by the cans on the table. If the Emissary wanted to report back he was available, otherwise the night was dragging into morning. Cans of apples were stacked and moved to the side, clearly as if to say 'mine'. Ms Jasons wouldn't have prepared a feast if she wanted to keep it all to herself right?
