The Wizard Mobile, as Avis had proclaimed it, at least to herself, pulled up behind the Fillard Goldman Museum, all patched pea green paint, throaty motor, and boldly detailed Wizard mural on both sides. It definitely wasn't the sort of vehicle that one could call inconspicuous, but there was more than just cheek behind the choice of vehicle. There was also the shield of incredulity, the possibility that no one would believe at first glance that any of the Awakened would be so stupid as to drive something with a literal wizard painted across the side of it. Or, that was a hope.

Another was that it would instead serve as a symbol. Something that would become expected and associated with the Veiled Threats. Thus, when they eventually used something else, their enemies might miss it.

Or, well, maybe it was mostly cheek. Either way, Avis was definitely amused that they were parking the Wizard Mobile on the home turf of the Mysterium, even if only temporarily.

"Y'all ready to pick up the package?" she asked her cabal, twisting herself around the passenger seat to get a good look at them.

Equipment

Change of clothes, cash, burner phone double shaped with bow, bulletproof vest, belt double shaped with arrow quiver, extra arrows, duffel bag, snacks, water, and an attitude.

Pop Quiz: How do you make the Van of Wizardry even more awesome? Answer: Go roll it up and park it on Le Holy Ground. Fingers worked the archaic lever to shift it into park, with a disturbing shudder and thunk of a well worn transfer case. A backpack full of Useful Things was also bursting with Even More Useful Things for a road trip: snacks, a rainbow of Gatorade bottles, and a booklet of Mad Libs.

"She said it was, like, the size of a kid. A small kid. Did, uh, yeah. Did anyone bring a hand dolly? Maybe they have one we can use." Right. Just gotta make it clear that Dropping It was entirely likely without a dolly.

The door popped open.

[Emrys]

Emrys was ready for this. Theoretically. Knife, guns, and plenty of ammo said he was ready to kill bears till the cows come home and probably still have the ammo to hunt the cows. Of coarse the guns were longarms, which meant they probably wouldn't see use unless they were going into a forest or something, which would match the tamer of tree thing, but anywhere else meant he probably wouldn't be walking down the street with them.

"I'm ready when you are." He said to Avis before shaking his head at Star. "If you want something moved you get to supply the means to move it. We're a cabal not a moving service."

The Enchanter popped out of the van after Star and the others, wondering what they were dealing with and where they were taking it.

Equipment and spells

Combined Temporal Eddies and Temporal Dodge with Potency 1 each cast in the van as the museum came into view.

For equipment Emrys has a backpack with a single change of clothes, bottle of water, 2 granola bars, a bowie knife, handcuffs, ammo for the mauser and shotgun, and an empty Tupperware container. Boxed in the back of the van is his Mauser and a pump action shotgun. He's wearing his leather jacket (Reinforced Clothing) and has his wallet (with some extra cash) and smartphone in his pockets.

[Arthur]

Arthur takes yet another look at the wizard mobile as he gets out. Fucking hell, camouflage by looking ridiculous? Not worth arguing now, maybe if things go ass up. He shakes his head in the negative.

"Didn't think of it, maybe they have one. Or ya know." A hand makes a raising motion and is followed by a shrug. "Ready otherwise." The Thearch stretches quickly before checking his pockets, wallet, phone, keys, wand. Checkkk. Party time.

Imagos form and are pushed into the Pattern as Arthur looks at the others. What's with the backpacks?

"Keep it up, Ermac. I've got a hunch we're gonna need it," Avis encouraged before wheeling back around in her seat and then popping out of the van. Best to get the show on the road.

And, because she knew Ermac could intercept anything she sent, and that meant any other potential mage could too, Avis chose to walk towards the Museum doors and knock rather then send a "we're here" text. Besides, the time had been arranged in the first place. They had to have been expected.

[Star]

Woop, there it is.

Ever get that vibe? Totally normal...ish... person, that no one seems to like? Go ahead and check the Thats Why box next to Emrys. The van door was shut, locked, and then the ritual circle made around it, locking each manual lock. What? Not every van has fancy schmancy power locks.

That done, keys were exchanged for a phone. Time for business.

A few swipes sent a message out silently via Bluetooth casting.

Because monitoring the airwaves.

"Cool, let's roll!"

*Knock knock knock* went Avis' knuckles upon the Museum's door.

[Emrys]

A small smirk appeared at Ermac's customer service reference, but he had nothing to add. He followed behind Avis as she approached the door, ready to get this show on the road.
