Interesting, she wasn't evens sure if the guards had been able to tell she was Uratha. If they had, they certainly hadn't seemed to care all that much. It may have been the reason for the lingering eyes...or that could have simply been for the same reason she often got those from men. So either it was a blind spot, or they were overconfident to the point where they didn't want to make a move to hinder her entrance.

Either way, it was a mistake on their part.

Once inside...standard social mingling, she supposed. A swing by the bar first, since so many people in these kinds of places seemed to have a drink in their hands. Something girly, fruity...with plenty of other things to dilute the alcohol. Something she could sip at for a long time and keep her wits about her, because she'd certainly need them.

And then...she supposed she'd wander over by the poker table. She could read people fairly well, after all.

Tony and Aeneas

The Lunes offer no words though Tony can tell his intent was true. None of the security look in the direction the attractive women came from. Leaving Tony and Aenaes more or less alone. The few close by humans moving towards the Casino side step and cross the street to get away from the waiting werewolves.

Chantay disappears into the Casino with ease. Security ignores her and the other patrons shift to give her space as she moves.

Chantay

No one moves to stop Chantay as she enters the Casino, in fact people shift out of the way. Who's going to stop someone come to play?

Trying to find a drink that isn't loaded with alcohol and actually getting one that isn't are two vastly different beasts. Sometimes it is friends or a barkeep that's having a good night, and sometimes its just business. The drink in Chantay's hand is definitely business.

Poker tables litter the floor in neat rows and columns. A smiling dealer stands at each and patrons gladly throw down chips. A few tables have crowds, a few barely any players. At a crowded table a seat opens and the no one moves to take it.

Well then...it looked like she was going to have to take care to drink this quite slowly. She just hoped no employees tried to somehow get her to down the thing faster, or play her with more. Hoped...but somehow doubted. A spiritual court exerted its influence here, and such organizations were rarely much for moderation.

After a few moment's consideration, she moved to take a seat at the table. It should be a good way to kill time until she was needed. If she happened to win money while she was at it? Convenient, she supposed. And if she lost some...she'd manage. Few Uratha were very materialistic, and she was certainly no exception.

[Xander]

"Huh." Was the only response Tony had to the silence. In hindsight though the court wouldn't likely need more then one spirit watching the entrance. This was the home of Greed, and it needed the Herd and their avarice to placate it's hunger.

When his Alpha made her way inside Tony could only smile at the ease with which it appeared. "Our turn." The Ithaeur slowly strode towards the entrance, nodding to the gentlemen as he made his way inside. Hopefully, they'd have the same luck as Slick going in.

[Aeneas]

Aeneas chuckled and followed behind.

"Yo think they sell root beer?" The Irraka asked curiously. "What about poker? Yo think they do poker. Not ordinary poker, like. Ahs thinkin' poker like in the movies. Uh huh... Naow that could be fun..."

For a moment, it looked like the real purpose of their mission had completely slipped his mind.

Chantay, roll for perception

The crowd parts as Chantay moves in to take the empty seat. Then promptly moves back in, nearly touching Chantay as they press in. There's a game to be played.

Cheerful smiles and hungry grins greet Chantay at the table itself. Across from her an older man nods his head. "Welcome, low is $100 and high is 2."

Aeneas and Tony

Like their Alpha before them Tony and Aeneas walk past the material security. Each getting glanced over by the suited security guards. Across the Gauntlet the Casino looms far larger than its material counterpart. The pair of black dogs are unmoved as you walk past them.

Chatter and noise fill the Casino as people throw down cheap change and life savings to the fickle mistress of Fate. Even a glance will tell you that the place takes security just as seriously inside as out. Ominous black half-domes emerge from the ceiling at regular intervals, well dressed individuals in suits wearing earbuds walk amongst the crowd. Across the Gauntlet the place is a riot of spirits. Some clearly hang over individuals within the crowd, other move above and through where the humans would be.

"Noted."

It was the lone word of response she offered as she settled in, seemingly apathetic to the Herd that crowded in behind her. Then chips were arranged in front of her, her drink placed within reach but out of the way...and she calmly awaited the hand to be dealt.

Being nonchalant about it all was easy, she mused, when you didn't really care all that much about the game.

As Tony entered the casino the shear number of spirits made his task seem impossible given his finite resources. The Iron Master found his way to the bar, taking it as a place to take it all in without drawing to much attention. Eyes scanned across the gauntlet trying to make sense of the hierarchy of spirits.

Chantay

The elderly dealer nods and deals out two cards to each of the 6 players at the table. A peak will tell Chantay her hand is a 3 of Diamonds and 4 of Clubs. Around the table the rest of the players each take a look at their cards.

At first it is the gaps of noise fron the small crowd behind the players. Then the breathes. Every person in the small crowd at the table is heavily breathing in sync with the weight of anticipation. The other players at the table all breath on their own.

Tony

Some of the casino tables are simply casino tables, others blink with green felt eyes, and a few don't have table tops only a gaping maw filled with teeth. Swarms of Casino chips bounced around the edges of the tables. Small onyx black dogs pace up and down within the Casino. A rabbit spirit sits surrounded by three of the black dogs. At the back of the room, which like its outside appearance is surely bigger than its material counterpart, stands a humanoid creature of what looks like pure gold. A gold suit rests on gold skin, accented with silver eyes and gold rings bearing gems of every color that may exist. The gold man simply watches the crowd of spirits, a narrow line across its human face giving away its mouth.

[Aeneas]

Aeneas... mewed.

There was lights. There was action. There was a swirl of people. Tasteful shadows. Tinkling noises. Card tables like in the movies.

The Irraka's vacant mind absorbed it all. Somewhere in that thick noggin of his, instinct filed information away: information needed for survival. Exits. Security. And the like. Aeneas had no conscious thought that he was doing it; he just did.
