Lynn griped her long knife and pulled it from it's sheath, ready to follow in the Mountain's footsteps.
For the first few feet beyond the door, it looks like a typical maintenance shed, set into the concrete foundations of the overpass. Except that the Hedge's thorny vines have begun to creep across the walls, wiggle through cracks in the floors. Crossing the space has that disconcerting familiarity of crossing into the Hedge. A warm air begins to waft out, along with a sickly sweet and sour smell, heavy with alcohol, like the vomit outside of a sorority house. It remains dark inside, and hard to see without a light source, but beyond the first couple feet the recess no longer feels like a maintenance shed. Glimpses between the vines show that the concrete has changed. It's rough-hewn and irregular, more like natural rock, but with a strange glint. Is it... rock candy? That's not natural to find in the Hedge. You must be within the Sandman's actual Hollow now. If only you had more light...Everyone needs to make a Perception roll. The first person in your marching order (I'm assuming Coco) takes a -3 penalty. The second person takes a -2, the third person takes a -1, everyone else rolls without penalty. If anyone in the party has a source of light, it reduces the penalty by 1 for everyone in the party. (No stacking for multiple sources of light.)
Green will be one of the last through.
Coco rushed past him like she had something to prove, blind to the danger. And probably partly blind as Daniel worriedly followed after her into the dim, hot air. The distantly famliar smell of sick and alcohol assailed them, reminding Daniel of a near forgotten chilly night many years ago. When he had been younger.
"Do you see anything?" He said in a deathly calm whisper as his eyes started adjusting

Wasp's were not known for their ability to navigate in the dark. Of course, Coco was not an ordinary Wasp. She was not even an exceptional one. She was marvelously unique, and thus found surprisingly little trouble in coping with the sudden gloom that she had catapulted herself into. The antennae, after all, were not for show, and neither were the facets her eyes had been fragmented into. In many ways, she could see and smell better than before she'd been dragged into Arcadia.
...Or, at least that's what she told herself.

Lynn followed after Daniel, one hand on her sheathed knife. She'd not pull it until she was sure of the situation. It was a better idea than she realized, as the sudden change of light all but blinded her as she stepped through.
Following Daniel, -1 = failure
Ava entered last, giving one last glance to the mundane world around them before stepping through. The passageway reminded her a little of the corridor they had nagivated between the Sandman's dream and one of the victims, though this was at least prettier, even if it didn't smell much better. Her hands remained free, the knife she didn't really know how to use within reach in her bag.

Proceeding down the dark passage, Lynn stumbles on the slick rock-candy stones and face-plants into the ground. Immediately her nose and mouth are full of the intense burn of close-contact with high-potency whiskey. That seems to be what the damp in here is. It forms little puddles and streams along the bottom of the cave, the floor and walls are a little slick with it. It's intensity is cut with the sweetness of the rock candy. And maybe a little lemonade? And a sour sickness that suggests rot and mildew. All in all, it's just gross, and her nose and mouth burn a little. Just be thankful it didn't get in your eyes.
Staggering upward, unassisted or otherwise, Lynn leans against one of the cave walls for a moment, catching her breath. Yet there is no peaceful rest to be found here. Moments later, she begins to feel pinpricks and stings where her body has touched the wall. Tiny little bites! In the darkness you can barely make out that dozens of carpenter ants seem to have migrated from the wall onto Lynn's body, climbing across her skin and into her clothes and biting incessantly!Trickster you must make a Resolve + Composure roll at -1. If you fail, you take a -1 to all dice pools going forward due to the disturbing experience.
It is difficult to keep entirely quiet when one of your companions has fallen and is now being assaulted by insects. As Lynn, perhaps with the aid of another, tries to divest herself of the invaders, the faint light in the cave reflects off two, beady eyes at the far end of the tunnel. A low growl echoes off the cave walls, the kind that sends a chill into your blood. An animal sound that says "If you don't get out of here right now, I'm going to kill you." Eyes adjusting, not twenty feet away stands a huge bulldog, blocking the party's path. You must now get passed The Sandman's hobgoblin Bulldog. Any character who wishes to can take an action (no more than one to a post please) to try to deal with this obstacle. This may be an attack, an Animal Ken, a Perception or Occult roll to try to glean more info, or whatever. If it requires physical contact with the dog or getting a really good look at it, then Ava and Green are at -3, Lynn is at -2 (or -3 if she fails her resistance roll), Daniel is at -1, and Coco is at no penalty, due to the marching-order of the party.
Lynn whimpered when she fell, teeth tightly clenched in an effort to keep the foul liquid out of her mouth. She wasn't even aware if anybody was helping her, she all but clawed her way up the wall, leaning on it and still more than half blind. But the wall offered no rest, she'd only barely caught her breath when she could feel some thing crawling all over her. She'd have chalked it up to an over active imagination, a bit of fear born of the location and who they were facing; but that faint hope was dashed when sudden red hot spots of agony started sprouting all over her. Frantically she started slapping at the ants, fingers hooking into claws as she fought to dig them out from under clothing and away from fragile skin. A half heard litany of some truly impressive and vile curses streamed from her still clenched jaw as she finally found and squashed the last of the ants as it made it's way up her neck, leaving agony in it's wake.

Super gross but survivable (3 successes)
I'll count pickling herself up and freaking out a bit as one action.
