That seems like a perfectly good place to end it! The Sandman has been defeated, and though his victims still suffer, there will be no more. Perhaps, with time, something might be done to help them, but that's another story. With no one to maintain it, the Sandman's Hollow will consume it's self over the coming weeks, fading back into the Hedge.
