Morgan is quite eager to find a stick to stick into the Hedge instead of her arm. Or body.
Together, they both found a long stick, which would hopefully work. But it may take a little more teamwork to fetch it out of the brambles.

Morgan smiled in relief that they had found a stick long enough to work. The smile turned grateful as Gregory helped to hold said stick steady whilst she tried to snag the amulet. It certainly made her job easier.

What they had retrieved from the thorns was a wind-up pocket watch. On it's cover a beautiful amber topaz faceted to lay perfectly on the lid. There was an inscription on the back, worn terribly but it was mostly there. My friend, remember the times. n f . The initials were the dullest part of the inscription.
The two were unscathed by the thorns or bramble around a rare occurrence in the Hedge.
"That be lovely. A rare find," remarks Gregory curiously. "Though of this N.F. I know naught. Perhaps it be one of those things from that man's antique shop. Best put to pocket and we be on our way. Something here has been dragged along the path. I do wonder if it be a sack full of things like that. But by this blood it may well be a body too," observers the Gargoyle aloud.
He leaves the watch in Morgan's care and leads on down the trail they are on.
Morgan nodded her head as well, "Nada-not think token sssso keh-could be frrrrom ant-tock, anti-art...dood's shop," and proceeded to pocket the watch away. She followed Gregory, worry clear on her face at the implication of a body being dragged.
Feel free to bounce to the other thread and catch up with the others.
Notably the initials look just like I typed
