A smirk crept across Milo's face at Coco's chosen method. That was supposed to be his job, but he could manage good cop if that's what they needed.

"We need to retrieve the objects taken with our friend, meaning we need your information before we can bring you payment." It was inconvenient, but if the man really wanted a tool he'd have to be useful first. Milo snapped his fingers at the guy as seconds continued to tic away. "Make it quick though, if we don't find these men soon I'm afraid I won't be able to stop my ill tempered companion."

A sidelong glance was offered to the wasp before a sigh escaped him. "It'd be good for you to pick up the pace."

As the three entered, they’d see a counter made of glass and metal. Trinkets and bobbles beneath, sparkling when the light touched it. As if to accentuate any light, the room was nearly wall to wall metal. There were what looked to be patrons in the store, but two stuck out wearing gear of some sort. They could have possibly been there to trade their findings for weapons or some other strange reason.

The man behind the counter spoke to the woman in red. “How many times are you going to be in here this week? Haven’t you gotten enough? I can’t keep up with your trades.”

Then, the man with the pointed head looked to the three. “Well, well, well… there's three of you?” Putting on his best face, but his eyes flickered between the red woman and the trio.

Pinky quickly flinched and ducked. “Okay, okay! Gahd… you don’t have to get to clipped.”

“But, if I were you three, I’d quickly go that way!” Pointing the same direction as the other three went.

“I’ll even be nice and help you….”

Mien: Coco's eyes are split into four facets that give a kaleidoscope appearance to her irises and two delicate antenna are perched on her forehead. Her nails are also like pieces of black carapace.

    Additional Identifying Features:
A tattoo of a jeweled wasp sits perched atop a thick and gnarled white "branch" that stretches several inches upwards from her left wrist, though the branch is clearly a scar.

A tattoo of a frayed, torn, and dirty golden banner trails around her right wrist, with another long scar forming the "mounting" for the banner.

"Enough," Coco snapped, whirling off in the direction the man had pointed. "We'll be on our way," she called back over her shoulder, entirely fed up with waiting for that blasted little rodent. No more! She would find information elsewhere if she had to. He had wasted his chance.

Milo simply shook his head as Coco snapped and stormed off. When someone's life was on the line you took whatever help you could get, especially when you were at a market with no immediate way of paying for the goods you're about to try and purchase.

"Move at her speed and you get your payment." He said pointing to Coco as he went to follow. Moving at the speed he had just told Pinky to he looked back at the man. "Now tell us very specifically what you can do to help us further."

The Lurker had his own idea on what to do, but he also recognized there were safer ways of getting the job done. If Pinky could supply one he'd get his tool, or at least whatever leftovers the group didn't need to pay for Ms Rosemary.

Lynn turned a brilliant smile on the man behind the counter. "Yes, the three of us," she gestured between her, Morgan and Ramona; "We came into this market on a very specific errand. When we asked around for directions on who might have it, this lovely lady mentioned that you were the very best person to ask." She gestured gracefully at their guide. "But I can see that you've got business to attend to with these gentlemen. We can wait while you finish up, take a look around, see what you've got."

Ramona doesn't leave Morgan and Lynn's side, but the two folks wearing gear of some kind have got her attention. She tries to be subtle about it, tries to remember all those old tradecraft lessons she picked up in An Tir. Use reflective surfaces. Don't look directly at them too long, people can feel that. It's not easy to do everything at once. Keep a look-out for danger, stay involved with Morgan and Lynn, and try to watch these two new people without being obvious about it. But she gives it a shot.

Hunching over, the man appears in his forties if not older. His hair is disheveled, his expression bizarre between glee or malice. His frame is thin and clothes ragged or stained, smelling worn and unwashed.
    Mein

His skin is gray like stone and his features more exaggerated, his eyes more set apart. Wings curl around his shoulders, unusable but expressive, as is his short tail. Horns adorn his brow and curl along the contour of his skull. He is what many would describe to be a gargoyle.

A best case scenario, the shopkeep yields and divulges the direction they should go, even willing to guide them.

"Come along then," mutters Gregory, wondering if the man has another game in mind. But haste is necessary over caution and the Lurkglider does not linger, following after Coco quickly to keep up with her.

Morgan had moved to speak but was cut off by Lynn. She opened her mouth again but Lynn said they would wait their turn whilst the other "customers" went first. Morgan's mouth hung open for a beat before shutting with her teeth audibly clicking. Well, she knows people stuff better then me. she deferred to her motley mate, nodding her head.

Morgan gave a quick bow to the shop owner: "Ye-yuppers-yes, we truly-honest heh-hope ye are the best for us to seek. Yet we nada-not be rude. Ye can-can-can heh-help ye first customers first. We wait turn for thine fine-wondrous sh-sh-sh--enterprise."

Morgan's eyes were also scanning around the room, but she was less subtle about it then Ramona. On the plus side, the raccoon craned her neck and turned herself around without lingering on too much. She looked more like someone overwhelmed by the contents of the store then someone seeking threats.

It was a little from column A, a lot from column B, and mostly trying to figure out what the shop bought/sold.

“Oh Ms. Musician, you are my business now.” Waving his hand, one of the men by the door began to close the door to the shop.

The woman’s nails began strumming impatiently in front of the shop keep. Her shoulders shrugging in a small huff. “Well, you said if anyone came looking for that Ogre, to bring them directly to you. So, here they are.” Her arm spread back to show off her finding.

Turning back, ear to ear greedy grin. “Now, sir, reward, please.” The red woman’s smile was doing only herself a favor and no one else.

    Milo, Gregory, Coco

It wasn’t far ahead that this trio could see where the others entered. The dull bronze doors with bars that looked terribly heavy and difficult to move.

“You better get moving, they’re going to close the door!!!” Pinky squeaked out a yell as he struggled to keep up with them.

Pieces click into place. Pieces like 'all the time in the world' and 'fun trades' and 'three of you.' The most important piece though is 'reward.' Red Woman is expecting a reward for delivering the three of them to Pointy Man. Which means that Ramona, Morgan, and Lynn weren't brought here as buyers. They were brought here as product.

There are obstacles that most people have to action in this situation. Society helps put them there. We generally give the benefit of the doubt to people we have solicited for help. Even those who offer unsolicited help. We also wish to avoid the appearance of being impulsive, temperamental, or stupid. These obstacles can be strong, people have allowed themselves to be manipulated, injured, and killed rather than overcome them. Many serial killers know this very well, and use it to their advantage. Yet, these are problems that ogres are typically less vulnerable to. They're often the victims of violence, or at least bullying, and many have had to learn to fight back. Ramona has invested herself in learning how not to be victimized again. One of many important lessons she learned: Never be afraid to be the first to resort to violence.

The moment these pieces click into pace, she's in motion. She lurches towards the Woman in Red, her mantle flaring, heat pouring off her skin and the scent of hot metal filling the air. Pouncing on the Red Woman from behind, she reaches one of those arms out, past her, then curls it, wrapping it around her neck so that the Red Woman's bicep is squeezed between her forearm and bicep. "TREACHERY!" She cries loudly. An explosive bellow. Voice is a powerful weapon. It can stun, and shock, but most importantly, it can communicate. Ramona hopes to god that Coco, Gregory, and Milo are listening.

She gets her balance, eyes flicking between the two Gear Dudes, and Pointy Man, and elsewhere, looking for threats. She tries to keep her (hopefully) grappled victim between her and any attacker, like a human(?) shield.
