“For the last time, no, Coach. Alex will train my way and my way only. We have come too far to suddenly change his regime, it will throw the poor boy off course and then he will get massacred against Delfort when they meet later this month.”


Terri regains her composure but starts up again so as Coach Kennedy can't get a word in.


“Look, Coach, you carry on working on Alex's boxing talents and I'll work on his conditioning, both physical and mental. I'll make the kid's focus so solid it will be like a fucking fortress.”


Coach Kennedy looks down on her and smiles, nods once and turns back to his job, letting Terri do exactly what she was being paid for.


And that was the day Terri finally understood what it was like to have clarity of vision.
