Gregory stiffens as he hears his name called out among the Yellow Team. Curse my clumsiness, he laments as he considers his next move.

That had been a bust, but at least he had tried. The Wyrd doesn't want to be cheated. Hopefully Gregory would at least benefit from just a bit of luck. More pressing issues distracted him at the moment. Oh, sweet mother of...

Please make a reflexive Perception roll to notice that Rick found his team's flag.
Combat Posting Begins
Marcus - Tally - Rick - Gregory - Milo - Ramona - Nathan - Rostam
Marcus is up.
OOC
Marcus' metal flesh almost appears to sparkle in the sunlight like one of those lame vampires from those stupid teeny bopper movies as he calls upon his kith blessing. As he does so, he notices his best friend has found his own team's flag as well.
Uh oh...
Realizing that the game is over as soon as Rick starts running, Marcus is off like a shot in order to try and intercept his fellow elemental. He looks back at Gregory as he charges off and simply yells one word.
"RRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNnnnnnnnnnnnnnn..."
Marcus spends 1 Glamour to invoke Forge's Endurance.
Perception: 2 successes
Marcus exits this scene.
The reason for Marcus' agitation is clear to him pretty soon. Why am I not surprised? Hopefully he could help him out, give him an edge.
"Run. Now," he told Gregory, while he himself ran towards RIck as far as he could.
Oh, boy. This should be fun. Too fun, in fact.

I'm only posting for the perception roll. I'll go to the other thread when it is my turn. By the way, I'm pretty sure I still haven't used up my Hearth blessing, since none of my rolls so far have been attempted instant actions. Do correct me if I'm wrong!
Tally goes after Gregory with intent on tripping him up and pinning him to the ground. Of course, it's whether or not she can over take him that will decide things.
Grapple: 3 successes on Strength + Brawl before subtracting Defense
ST Edit: No need to chase yet, since Tally acts before Gregory. Also, since Tally's Strength+Brawl dice pool would be the same to attempt a grapple, I will allow the Dexterity+Athletics roll to substitute for it.
Lesingnon
Gregory Defense: 3 , Speed: 10
The Lurkglider barely slips away as Tally's black-nailed fur-lined hands reach out to snare him. His next move is clear by the calls of his teammates. The strength builds in his old legs and he dashes off towards the fire pit at breakneck speed. For a seemingly old man he is surprisingly spry.

Following after his beastly companion Milo ran after Gregory. Unfortunately as was occurring all to often he was woefully unprepared for the physical activity he needed to make a difference at this point in the game. He arrived as Gregory tore off, already breathing heavily before even beginning the chase after the Darkling.
Milo's Speed is 9, so he spends his turn entering this thread. Ramona Bohannon is next!
Marcus(Grappled) - Tally - Rick(Grappled) - Gregory - Milo - Ramona(Grappled) - Nathan(Grappled) - Coco - Rostam
Marcus is up.
Although his fellow elemental breaks apart into a spray of autumn leaves in his grasp, Marcus still manages to grab a couple of large fistfuls before Rick can completely elude him. Lucky for him, the rest of the leaves do not seem able to completely detach themselves from those in his shiny grip. Gregory turns out to be just a bit too agile for both Tally and Milo, avoiding both of their grasps and racing towards the fire pit while everyone else piles onto the knot of bodies surrounding the blue flag. Meanwhile, Coco finds her team's yellow flag while everyone's attention is focused elsewhere.

Tally tries to give chase, she really, really did want to reach Gregory before he makes it to the hearth. Something just doesn't click for her.
