(FOS 2015) Capture the Flag: Blue Team

Marcus is up.

Although his fellow elemental breaks apart into a spray of autumn leaves in his grasp, Marcus still manages to grab a couple of large fistfuls before Rick can completely elude him. Lucky for him, the rest of the leaves do not seem able to completely detach themselves from those in his shiny grip. Gregory turns out to be just a bit too agile for both Tally and Milo, avoiding both of their grasps and racing towards the fire pit while everyone else piles onto the knot of bodies surrounding the blue flag. Meanwhile, Coco finds her team's yellow flag while everyone's attention is focuses elsewhere.

With two fistfuls of crafty autumn leaves trying to escape his grasp, and a preternaturally tough ogre on his back, Marcus realizes he really only has one option... to endure. Calming his mind and seeking that solitary place where he is nothing but a single vein of metal ore still comfortably nestled in earth and stone, the metalflesh becomes one with his elemental nature as his skin and muscle visibly transform into solid metal and he soon looks like one of his own polished sculptures. Now a statue of steel and chrome, Marcus stands ready to endure the onslaught of flesh and bone that is attempting to physically sway him from his purpose.

As the flag is engulfed by the flames of the fire pit, a thick plume of bright red smoke billows up into the sky, signalling the Red Team's victory. The victors can feel the rush of glamour as the pledge if fulfilled and they reap the benefit of their success.

Marcus' steely face splits into a wide grin when he sees the red plume of smoke billowing skyward. Releasing his hold on the leaves that compose Rick, he pumps one fist into the air above him as waits for Ramona to release her hold on him. Once she does, the metalflesh high fives Nathan Griffin before heading over to the fire pit.

"Alright!"

Marcus exits this scene.

Rostam extracts himself from the pile, sighing as he does so. He nods to the Red players as they untangled themselves.

"I guess congratulations are in order?"

And apologies as well, although he does not voice that last thought. He just hadn't done that much for his team...
