Chuck got a text on his phone:
Meet me with your group at the Sac City business building, Dr. Richardson's office
    Tony Willowsbark.

Chuck sent a message of his own out to Jacqueline, Aryana and Allison telling them when and where to meet. He stood patiently in the foyer of the building and waited for the others to arrive.

Did someone say formal attire? It didn't matter to Chuck that he was meeting in a doctor's office, he would have worn the suit anyway. His leather soled shoes tapped on the floor as he checked his watch.

She was late, for certain. Tasks generally got in the way that caused her to be late in one way or another and the task generally involved getting sidetracked with... interests. This particular 'interest' was a six-foot tall Castillian with the most heart-meltingly attractive accent and pecs that glistened in... Getting off track! As a result of her 'interests', Jacqueline found herself rushing to meet with her Alpha. Apparently this was the big day they were going to discuss territory. How funny that werewolves would be discussing territories in the confines of a college campus. Seriously, who would be expecting that?

By the time she reached the doctor's office, she did her best to keep a professional veneer, despite the fact that she was wearing essentially a gym outfit, all loose-fitting cotton and short shorts, her hair in moderately windblown cascade. Glancing about, she finally found Chuck dressed up to the nines as per usual and sauntered over, grinning sheepishly, "Sorry about the wait, had to pop over here right from work and you know how that is..."

Tony willowsbark is a ghost as far as your brief investigation reveals, but Dr. Richardson is a molecular biologist who graduated from the University of Colorado in 1999. He has since gone into private business, working as a consultant for small biotech firms and starting several small enterprises before selling them. He currently is teaching no courses.
The sacramento city business building is the home of the Sacramento City Community College's school of business, which lists Dr. Richardson as an associate faculty.

The secretary at the front deks gives Jacqueline a disapproving eye, as students in business suits move in and out. Chuck blends in to the crowd quite well.

"No worries." Chuck said with a smile, a white lie. There was always something to worry about.

He turned on his heel to the front desk as the smile continued to the secretary pleasantly. "Would you be able to direct me to Dr. Richardson's office? I have an appointment." the Elodoth explained politely.

She smiles up at chuck, "Dr Richardson is out on sabbatical, but I'd be happy..." She stops her rehearsed speach to look down. "Huh. I guess he's back. Just down the stairs, last office on the right." She indicates a staircase that heads downstairs. "i'll have to let Sarah know.." she muses to herself absently.

Bouncing on the arches of her feet, the diminutive Cahalith looked about. Everyone was just so... serious. Each stalked with a curious admixture of devoted focus and complete absentmindedness as they chirped into cell phones or fiddled with tablet software. As someone who was arguably tech savvy, at least among Uratha, it was awe-inspiring to be the one on the outside looking in; the one watching the brittle strings of society and polite conversation withering to death under a megalith of technological egoism. Did anyone else not notice this? It's a little ridiculous!!!

Caught off guard by the secretary, Jacqui slowly ceased her bouncing under the disapproving stare. It was clear from her words that she was only a barrier, the social equivalent of the Giant Stone Pillar Spirit of the Hisil, to allow those who are worthy and stonewall the riffraff. At the last minute, they appeared worthy. Good thing too. Arguing with staff never really went anywhere important. Better to just cut to the chase. Nodding towards Chuck, Jacqui exclaims cheerfully, "All right then. Let's be off." before following the path towards Dr. Richardson's office...

Who freaking went downstairs to get to the office? What, was he a Janitor?

Chuck looked to Jacqueline as she spoke but turned back to the secretary before moving. "Much obliged." he offered simply before striding away in the direction indicated. Corridors and offices were no stranger to him, though he was still getting used to the feel of being the one leading the pack. Memories of just few a years ago flooded back of being the omega, following the pack that his father lead as alpha. They were only part of the Herd, but his father could sniff out and hunt down a deal like no other he'd seen. Sink his teeh into the jagular of the negotiations and drag back the lions share for himself.

He realised he had phased out as he walked and brought his attention back to the present, turning to flash a friendly smile at Jacqueline. "Glad you could make it. Especially after Aryana and Allison..." he let the thought trail off.

He took the railing of the stairs and began to descend.

The two travel down the stairs, and they notice a shift in the air. This area is protected by some sort of ward, likely the ward against predators. It lets you know you are entering a werewolf's place of value. As the hairs creep up on you, you notice how rarely this is traveled, and the door to Dr. Richardson's office is open.
Looking inside, you see Tony Willowbark and Julia Grey packing up boxes, as well as a bare desk with a map of the city spread out, there are some occult markings on it. There are bookshelves half empty with thick textbooks, scientific journals, everything looking mundane, if rather very science heavy. Tony nods to you, and closes the box.
"So, you are the ones who are serving the bird king. Welcome." He nods in greeting to Chuck. His tone is quiet.

The odd tangible feel of the ward buzzed in the back of Jacqueline's mind as she snapped to attention, almost letting out a gasp of surprise and stopping in her tracks. She had almost thought this to be some sort of wild goose chase, some charade thrown there way so that the Aegis could be watched and mocked, but this was something big. A sort of overeager smile crossed Jacqui's face as she continued onward, replying to her Alpha, "Even if it was Aryana who brought us together, you are keeping the name strong, bringing younger ones to the fold. I can't say I like what has happened, but we have to roll with the punches and come out on top, right?" Doing a mid-walk spin, the two Eldest of the Aegis entered Dr. Richardson's Office.

Sih Sehe Mak; Mak Ne Sih

The Low Honor the High, The High respect the Low. This seemed a fair time to remember such an oath, as general impudence would likely result in slightly maimed Uratha. Therefore Jacqueline took on a cordial attitude as she smiled at the two members of the Justicars, "It is an honor to meet you both." She decided to keep her speech minimum, lest she get glared at for speaking above her station. Certainly there was PLENTY she could say to tick off her superiors, and frankly... They were negotiating for territory, so tact was paramount.
