Feast of Colour

Terri was happily settling in to arriving at the party when the Queen announced a start to the proceedings. She smiled congenially at the start of the fun.

The picture that was her face as the Queen of Spring poured bright orange over her head was one of shock followed by delight that this was going to get messy. Luckily, she didn't like the dress that much and her hair could be fixed.

"Oh, it's on!" she shrilled, laughing as she grabbed the nearest water balloon and placed a hand on Rick's arm. "You're with me, right?" she grinned playfully, weighing up the balloon in her hand before turning to lock on to Violet LeBlanc .

Morgan was a fast little Beast, but not that fast. The time she took to stow her things in the safe area prevented her from "arming" herself for the coming battle.

The Twilit Page was in the worst spot any prey could be it: right out in the open.

ooc: Morgan took too long and is "unarmed" and out in the open for the first volley.

He couldn't quite help but laugh as the orange liquid cascaded down over Terri, a quick sidestep allowing him to avoid any...splash damage, so to speak. And then there's a grin to match her own. He'd seen that look on her face before, after all. This was going to be interesting.

"As always." And with his free hand he didn't simply grab a balloon, instead opting to just pluck an entire platter of cupcakes off of the table. Because time spent running back and forth for ammo was time not spent hurling the various brightly colored objects at other Freeholders.

Then he tugs with the arm Terri's holding, heading towards one of the inflatable bunkers. "Now let's just grab some cover before this all breaks loose."

[Gregory]

Scooping a wad of cupcakes in his arms, Gregory smears a bit of frosting across his chest in the effort, an assortment of color that he does not seem to mind. He stands out in the open, a wicked grin spread across his face as he prepares for the onslaught of color to be spread across the building. A tiny voice in the back of his mind wonders if they will have to take part in cleaning up afterwards, but for now Gregory seems lost in the excitement of the game.

Lynn had misunderstood the rules of the game at first and had come with her own 'ammo' so to speak. She quickly tucked her water guns under a table off to the side and grabbed a sack, running around the garden and filling it with a combination of water balloons and powder filled ammunition. Given that the point of the game was to get covered in color, she didn't even bother hiding anywhere. She did spot that Morgan had entered the area and was unarmed.

"Morgan!" Lynn tossed her a balloon gently and underhanded. She gestured for the other woman to join her, there was enough ammo in her bag for two.

Morgan grins at her motley mate, deftly catching the ballon tossed to her by Lynn, "T-thanks Lynn! Any tar-jets ye'd p-preferss?"

[Kyle Ferlen]

Kyle wastes no time in snatching up some ammunition and, in a frenzy, attempting to locate his 'fair lady'. Fortunately, she's not wrapped up in a crowd and he soon spots her out by a hedged fence. Arms full of colored balloons and face lit up in a grin, he runs up and takes his position - standing between Sasha and wide angle of would-be incoming fire. He turns his head back over one shoulder and looks at her.

"I'm here to defend your honor, miss." he says with a wink. He probably would have better luck getting hit by a car than hitting someone else with one of those balloons, much less blocking each one in a comical parody of the Matrix... but it's the thought that counts, right?
