This is a PrP that was established here.
Alex Addler Ava Campbell Trickster Greebs Terri Nutkins
This scene is arbitrarily taking place on a Saturday.

The warm weather and the coming of spring means good things for the Quicksilver Court. It means more traffic coming through the little market, open doors and windows bringing in the fresh air from outside, happy people chattering and wandering the isles, giving in to the temptation to shed a bit of their hard-earned paycheck on a frivolity or two. Flyers overlap each other on posts and pegboards, advertising live music appearances, wine and cheese tastings, glass blowing demonstrations, family-friendly community events, and the like. The market isn't busy exactly, but it has a satisfying flow of traffic, and a constant burble of conversation, punctuated by sharp exclamations of laughter or lows of curiosity. Children cling to their parents sides, or dart amidst the stalls, a source of anxiety for some and amusement for others. Adolescents cluster and drift, catching occasionally on some item of interest, usually food, before they depart as if blown away by a breeze, often leaving a wake of paper cups and discarded odds and ends. Life unfolds. It's fun to watch.

Your characters are all present in the Quicksilver Court today, for whatever reason.
Fitting that what was once begun here should begin here again. Mwahahahaha!

Lynn stood off to the side of the crowd, slowly working her way through a cone of candied nuts and people watching. She hadn't had time to simply relax for a while and it was good to be out and in the fresh air. She closed her eyes a bit, savoring the heady emotions that circulated through the crowd and left the faintest taste of popcorn on the tip of her tongue.

    Talk about eating your feelings

Feeling full in more than one sense, Lynn pushed away from the wall and started wandering the booths, window shopping.

Alex was enjoying coffee. It was black, with a touch of caramel syrup added to it. Delicious. It had been an interesting day earlier, hiking in the outlying areas for his studies, and now he was well...

It had started off with looking to see if there'd be any shelving units among the craft booths, but that was quickly nixed. None of them had furniture. So, instead, he'd hit up the cafe on the first floor for coffee. he really didn't get enough of it in the apartment, let alone in the middle of a forest.

Terri's Mask is that of a petite, cute woman with vibrant red hair that has black streaks throughout. Obviously athletic, her natural demeanour is friendly and she always tends to have a smile on her face.

Her fae mien is akin to a red squirrel. She has a long bushy tail and ear tufts that poke through her hair. The black streaks are actually black feathers the are a part of her mien now,; a part of her noble order.

Terri's powerful Mantle initiates itself as the smell of baking bread but brings with it the feeling of the Harvest, that time to take stock of the coming troubles.

It had been a pretty busy day for the petite Beast, her stall in Quicksilver doing well as the Season changed. Spring always meant new fashions and new fashions brought out customers who wanted a new wardrobe; something small could be a perfect inspiration for the coming Season.

Pushing some hair from her face, Terri had just waved away another satisfied customer when she spotted Lynn and Alex, the wave growing slightly more vibrant and her smile grew to cover her face.

Lynn notice Terri and waved, finishing off her nuts and tossing the cone into the nearest trash can. She brushed off her fingers and worked her way over to the other woman's stall.

"Hey there! I didn't know that you were out here." She looked over the offerings and turned slowly on her heel, nodding in approval. "I'll have to come out here again when I get some more cash, this is really nice." She turned back to Terri. "Has business been good?"

On occasion, Autumn's Scrivener made a point of cruising the bookstore near the Quicksilver Gate, just to see what they had in stock. She preferred the hole in the wall at which she worked by a vast margin, but sometimes a person needed to suck it up and buy a book new. Or, at least, check out what other people were carrying. The glossy covers and pristine pages were an unsettling contrast to the older books at Marginalia, the acidic paper beginning to take its toll, so she found what she was looking for and got out fast. A brand new translation of the Grimm's first edition of tales tucked into her bag, she grimaced at the receipt before pocketing it and heading out onto the street.

In a concerted effort to spend a little more time together, Mal and Ava had arranged to meet for food at one of the restaurants in the Gate, though which one was still up in the air. Checking the time on her phone, she moved through the front doors and took a quick peek around, hoping to spot her friend.

Alex blinked when one of the Venders waved to him, then he recognized her - partly because Lynn went over to her stall and started chatting in a way that said friend more than customer. Right she was - Alex took a sip of his coffee as he tried to dig up a name, then frowned.

The coffee was gone, and no one had passed on her name. He went and got another cup of coffee, just black, before heading over to Terri's booth. "Hey Lynn. Hi... um, sorry, I've seen you around the Blue Note, but none of the people I was with filled in a name? They told me the guy you were with was Rick Pereg though." He left it at that - the details of why they pointed out Rick and not the woman he was kissing wasn't the kind of thing to say around mundane people. "Oh! i'm Alexander Addler, by the way. You can shorten that, if you want."

He offered a hand to the squirrely vendor, saluting with his fresh cup of coffee in the other before taking a sip and noting all the colors and patterns of cloth around him.

Things hadn't been easy betwen Mal and Ava over the past Winter. Too much application of kid gloves had caused communication to break down, leaving both wing nothing to do but burrow into their own worries. Mal's little hollow project finally bringing the fragile, artificial harmony crashing down around them.

There were still plenty of things left unsaid, but at least they were trying.

Mal could be very trying indeed...

Her stomach gave a rowdy grumble as she stepped inside and caught a healthy slap of delicious food smells, square in the face. She was still sporting an ensemble of faded, yellowing bruises, scabbed over cuts and scrapes, sticking plasters and bandages, but they were healing, slowly. At least she could get her arm through the sleeve of a jacket without too much pain now.

Trying to pick out a face in a crowd, when the vast majority of that crowd was, quite literally, head and shoulders above you was no easy thing. Her one advantage was that the Lost were, to their own at least, quite good at standing out from a crowd.

"Hey, you." she said, a little warily, having finally caught up with her room-mate. "I am starving."

Terri's satisfied customer walks away with a tired smile. Perhaps she is at the end of a very long week indeed. She strides away with a clack of her heels upon the ground, her phone immediately buzzing for attention, demanding to be raised to her ear, where she speaks with with the low voice of fatigue. Unnoticed by all, for the moment, a child following in her wake stops. As if rooted to the floor, just a few steps away from Terri's stall, his body goes as still as a statue.

Just down the isle, Mal pushes through the crowd to finally rendezvous with Ava. While the Hunterheart's appearance may understandably be the focus of her attention, Ava begins to feel that unmistakable sensation that eyes are upon her from afar. Following the sensation, the Scrivener notices a young boy standing not far from the stall of Terri Nutkins. Completely still. Wide eyes focused on her.

After a moment, recognition sets in. She knows him. No name comes to her mind, just the briefest of images, yet seared into her memory. A long hall of doors, locked and barred, where dreaming children were kept in misery and fear.

    He was among the captives.

Terri smiled as Lynn came over to join her, leaning on the counter. "It's been steady, sure. Always tends to be when the new season comes around. People want to keep up with passing trends and they know that small boutiques like mine can offer something particularly unique. If you're ever interested, I do offer discounts to friends." And by friends, she meant that as literally covering everyone in the Freehold.

"That's perfectly fine, it was a busy night at Valentine's," Terri smiled warmly towards Alex, not noticing the child. "I'm Terri, Terri Nutkins. Been around for a while. How are you settling in, Alex? Finding everything okay?"
