Striker nodded along seriously with what Pepper was saying. A second later he realised.

"Me? ME? Jeez hell-no. I'm not looking for that kinda trouble. Didn't I just say you'd have to be a bloody idiot? Nah mate. I'm just making sure I'm gonna be safe a'ight? I don't think Avis is gonna do anythin' like that either but I just wanted to know what'd happen if she did. Jeez I'll just keep my mouth shut next time." he said looking frustrated.

She had to agree with Pepper on this one, she wasn't crazy about hearing it brought up either.

A smile was offered to Striker and her hand takes his gently, "Hey, it's ok. Was a good question if you didn't know a whole lot about it. But it is a subject I'm not crazy about hearing either." she had to be honest.

"But enough of that, lets say we get those drinks." a smile was offered to everyone.

[Arthur]

The grin returns as Pepper mentions an induction. Though maybe getting wrecked after his own wasn't supposed to happen? Either way. "Sounds like it'll be a good time"

"Drinks are definitely better than Nemesis." Arthur nods solemnly though the grin takes a second longer to fall away.

Pepper looked at Striker and blinked in confusion. "Avis? Uh, if you think that's a thing I guess."

She turned to Faye a bit, then nodded, "Well, I've got to beg off - planning. Enjoy your drinks." She waved to the others, then split off to go figure out the Silver Ladder meeting - If Arthur had actually been volunteering he'd follow her.

Pepper leaves the scene

Striker squeezed Faye's hand, glad for the reassurance. "Drinks it is then." he said returning Faye's smile, just happy to have someone who didn't always think the worst of him.
