Where Jacqueline was relying on savagery and aggression, Chuck was utilizing a whole other skill-set. Cadence and control. Finesse and composure. There was no way to lash out with a pistol, the best one could hope for was a well aimed shot, and as Jacqueline's fearsome attack's seemed to level slightly Chuck took the opportunity to level another shot at her. He didn't want to risk infuriating her with another shot to the face. Not yet at least.
2 suxx before defense
Chuck had been keen in his shot, undoubtedly, taking time to line up the shot, but the Urshul was more than eager to jostle the gun into a misfire. <<Two... Four Left...>> her growl echoed forth in the First tongue as Jacqueline kept herself hungry and renewed her attack with full force, this time sending jaws flying at her target.

Chuck took the bite on his left arm leaving his right to level a shot at Jacqueline's midsection. Even if she hadn't had a blatant disregard for her safety she wouldn't have been able to avoid the worst of the shot that surely would have hit a vital organ had the blank held a real bullet.
As soon as the wolf's jaws let his arm free he release the essence to knit the wound back together. His clothes weren't fairing as well as his body however and tatters of cloth were starting to hang loose.
-1 essence to heal the lethal that got through.
The brilliant flash and forty-four caliber burning of paper hit, searing at her fur briefly. Fortunately it wasn't anything so dramatic as a phosphorus shot, but the pain throbbed in the back burners of her mind, a mild roar amidst the bellow of rage, fury, and cold logic. Her blows were having little effect and the natural Uratha healing was making up for any gouging. In a moment of concern, she realized how truly weak she was at this. Aryana would have been a much better aggressor in this situation and really give her Alpha a run for his money.
It was a blessing that these were actually blanks, since he seemed to hit two well on the mark already and if she continued to aggress, she'd probably get shot thrice more. Still, this was a representation of an attack. There was no point in playing safe when glory was on the line! The pure would not hold back unless they knew they had a tactical advantage. Slamming her excess strength against her alpha, Jacqui tries to push her opponent down into a proper grapple, using her superior weight to her advantage.

As Jackqueline threw herself at him, Chuck was surprised that he didn't see any more teeth or claws flashing at him. He managed to disengage from the paws that seemed to be trying to pin him long enough to aim another shot at the massive wolfs head. Jostled at the last minute, the shot went wide, firing the blank uselessly into the air.
"Damn." Chuck called out.
Trying to hold Chuck down did nothing but distract his shot enough. As the fourth blank fired awry, the anticipation of success surged the Urshul onward, renewing her efforts for the final rush. Only two shots remained and she had to keep careful and quick, try to duck and dodge the final hits while getting in some key blows of her own. With that, Jacqui sends her claws towards Chuck while keeping alert for the next shot. The final stretch was coming.

Chuck stepped almost away from Jacqueline's vicious slash as a large section of his shirt was torn away and a mean gash was left down his torso. He pushed the essence through his chest to stem the flow of blood as he brought Jacqueline back into the pistol's line of fire and pulled the trigger. It would have been a hit, but that's all that could be said for it.
Total: -4 Essence, 0 Damage
One more shot... Delicious beautiful success... Tear at him with all your might...
There was no hesitation with her deflection and hardly a moment spent thinking about her next move. She was so close to success and felt the throbbing heated blood flowing through her. She couldn't act so rashly, but the beast inside was stirring her onward, tasting the blood of her prey. She would fight, feast...
No, no it couldn't be so easy, nor could she go against Luna's Laws in such an egregious way. She would win this fight smartly, like a human would, fighting but ready to dodge out of the way if possible. They may have been at a stalemate, but there was no point in being a foolish animal about it. Ducking under the firing arm, she aims her wicked jaws at Chuck's forearm, trying to get between the gun and the werewolf holding it.

Chuck was getting a good feel for what Jacqueline could do, and while he was holding his own against her with the use of essence to heal his wounds, she apparently still had a few surprises. He winced as she bit into his arm tearing away the last of his sleeve and leaving bloody teeth marks in his flesh. As her muzzle moved away he twisted the gun to aim for her head once again. It was horrible technique, but without trying how did you know what you could do?
He took another few steps back and held the revolver up flat to Jacqueline, blood still dripping down his forearm. "Done." he called out, face alive with energy, breathing harder than normal and shirt torn to shreds.
It was just as good as he'd imagined, maybe better.
With a fury of motion, Jacqueline bounded off of her Alpha and towards her bag, shifting into Hishu form to rifle through it for more clothes. Why did she pack so many bullets? It wasn't that she was modest, but the Police tended to show up at the worst possible times and indecent exposure wasn't something she desired to have on her rap sheet.
In due time, she was dressed and appeared as chipper as she always was, although there were traces of blood both in her teeth and her fingernails and she suffered a few mild burns from the blanks. Still, it was remarkably fun to test herself against a weapon that pierced better than her teeth. Heck, she wouldn't have done nearly so well if there were real bullets in the chamber and even two good shots out of six was good enough... Or was it three?
"I know what you're thinking. Did you fire Six Shots or only five?" She replies with a cheesy-looking grin, "Clint was right, the .44 Magnum is fucking powerful! How do you feel?"
